non so se faccio ancora bene a sperare che venga rilasciato un altro capitolo lo leggerei anche in inglese ma nessuno lo traduce piu non riesco a capirne il motivo è un manga bellissimo non vedo l'ora di leggere il prossimo vi prego

Wow. Before even bothering to read this chapter I just want to sincerely thank the team for updating this manga. This is probably one of my favorite shoujos of all time and there aren't words good enough that can express my gratitude for having to scan, clean, redraw, and translate them.

God fucking dammit, another series I should have just waited on until it's been completely scanlated. Welp, I'm going to just wait until it finishes... AS IF

Seriously, this series has done very bad things to my heart. It's one of those stories I really hate because of the bittersweet, melancholic atmosphere I usually loathe, and characters I care from the bottom of my heart, and you can't help but follow the impressive story against your will. I HATE THIS, YOU HEAR ME

I was surprised by how well this series depicted its themes in non-superficial depth, which is rare for shoujo. Callous society, adults failing children, premature death of innocence, trauma and mental issues like the depression and PTSD... it's done well. Everything's so realistic, and explored to enough depth. I especially like how everything that happened to Natsume, the author hinged on outside factors (because it wasn't her fault in the first place) and gave her space to explore her situations and psychology instead of jumping unnecessary sharks. That part is really good. I also like how Natsume's relationship with her family is sparingly depicted, giving depth to them also with personalities and exploring how they, too, were affected by the events, which a lot of shoujo tend to just ignore.

I am so glad I started reading this without reading any of the comments and beginning with pre-formed ideas, because that way the impression is so much bigger on you. Kou's "godliness", Ootomo and Natsume's developing relationship, Natsume's state of mind; I was able to come to my own conclusions (AND FEELZ) because of that. (Note to self: please let this happen for other intense series like these)

And I am always a fan of second loves working out so YEAH ALL ABOARD THE NATSUME/OOTOMO SHIP HELL YEAH DID YOU SEE HOW CUTE THEY WERE DID YOU SEE OOTOMO'S CUTE BLUSHING FACE
Totally understood Natsume's conflicting feelings between wanting to treasure his "sunnyness" and hugging him because he's an adorable dork~~~ I liked the intensity between Kou and her like anyone else, but yep, Natsume needs a grounded, genuine person like Ootomo. Pls let them end up together author

(I read Soryo Fuyumi's Mars quite recently, so... yeah, the similarities between Rei and Kou. So similar in some ways. Heh)

Aaaah. Here's to hoping Natsume recovers from her trauma, moves forward and finds her self-worth and own place, she and Ootomo stay together, and Kou gets out from the shithole he's in T__T

And now I have manga hangover and don't feel like reading anything or even doing anything with my life for like, about a month or something. Gah

Fantastic chapter as per usual. I really love how the author uses her art as a medium to flash out her character's emotional processes/thoughts.

You would be surprised.... This shoujo is anything but predictable. I wouldn't put it past the author to give this a more realistic ending ^^.

I've read my fair share of predictable and unpredictable shoujo, but I've also been let down by authors with really strong starts who give lame endings, so I'm a little wary. But it's ok because

I really want the theme of this manga to be "be your own self, go your own path, don't blindly follow others, live your own life, etc." The reason why I want this is because there have been loads of implications that that's what Natsume needs to learn.

For example, every time Natsume talked about only wanting to live with Kou while they were dating, he said it was boring, also another example is in this latest chapter when the photographer asked if she wanted to live in the same place for the rest of her life. If anything, Kou's the only one who wanted her to be her own person, she has the capacity to be different, which is why he started dating her in the first place. Natsume's issue is that she puts herself away while idolizing whoever she is dating, which she mistakes for love, and then when she realizes that they aren't are amazing as she thought they were she drops them. An example of this is when Kou was beaten by the rapist and she pretty much falls out of love with him. Natsume needs to raise her self-esteem and realize that she is worthwhile as a person and everyone else is, like her, a human being and can make mistakes. She needs to get back to work, because that would help her with her depression, and stop rejecting these jobs that are falling into her lap before it's too late. I'm worried that Ootomo won't realize that she needs to go back to work and get out of town sometimes or else she's just going to throw her life away.

For endgame, I would rather her end up with no one and peace out to Tokyo, but we know that's not happening. So I feel Kou would be the best end for both so Natsume can get proper motivation from him and he can feel that he's finally strong enough to protect Natsume, stop his gang activity, and get away from his toxic family.

This manga has the potential to be absolutely fantastic, it just can't drop the ball now halfway through.

You would be surprised.... This shoujo is anything but predictable. I wouldn't put it past the author to give this a more realistic ending ^^.
