Is there anyone can translate this manga into an english version until next chapter to come?
Let's hope its not that and we keep getting more Saliphie.
Probably because...
... or so mangaupdates say.
why did the english translation stop?
that fat little bird really is the best thing ever.
YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!1 THANKS FOR THE UPDATE!!!!
Doki dokis flying everywhere.
And here comes the plotting chancellor again... The way he was trolled by that other courtier was priceless.
"Numbnuts"
I'm done, pfffttt.
Anyone else impatient enough to read the non English chapters (and not know the how to read that language) and guess the story based on what they see?
Edit: Who's the dude on page 33 of the 32 Chapter?
To be fair.. Leo was doing it just to stack up the brownie points with the wifey. It never hurts to have as many of those as possible. Furthermore, it wouldn't leave a good taste in his mouth to knock the crap out of the one and only friend his wifey had.. no matter how much he may have deserved it it's just not worth the effort.
Why is it in this and overlord I'm more interested in the lizard people than the actual leads.
Oh right, because they're awesome that's why.
Well, that was a particularly female-oriented conclusion to this arc...
>shoujo
Right, silly me. Now, back to royal politics, lizard courting, and fluffy tail snuggling.
Phoenix is not amused and is tired of your shit.
Sadly, there are too many real men who would define a relationship like that.
Aren't you supposed to be a religious nut, Theo? Your troll mask is slipping.
Well, they surely aren't human. Even if their society is somewhat like the humans, so are the society of ants/wasps/bees, termites and monkeys/great apes.
In nature, it's obvious that some species have a deep grudge against each other and some are even in a more complex predator-prey relationship,
e.g. lions and gnus.
If some gnus find a single lion or their cubs, they will kill them, similar to how several lions will kill and eat a gnu. That's practically the same as the relationship between demons and humans. The humans get preyed on by the demons, and in retaliation they kill the demons/try to exterminate them. From a biological point of view there's nothing wrong. Even ethically speaking, I don't see troubles for the human mind; after all, we're born to fight and kill others and feast on them to live, so one shouldn't argue with "humanism" if we speak about a Darvinistic world.
Dude, no. What part of you loves her if you think you are allowed to overwrite her wishes and won't even listen to her. Oh, and don't forget all the physical violence towards her.
Way to go, author-san. That's how to put in some tension and of course it has to be some super edgy love triangle.
Edit after reading chapter 16: Err, I hate those weird redemption arcs. After the shit he did I really wanted to slap him. I rarely found a shoujo manga that didn't made me rage when the "disruptor" was forgiven - just like that. Niry mentioned Kanata Kara. Yeah, that is a good one and the redemption the characters got were believable.
I can't wait for this arc to end so that the story can go back to what it was supposed to be about: Amit being cute and Jormungand being cool.
I think it's more about the attitude, although the fact that genocidal thoughts are rarely the sign of a balanced mind doesn't help.
Here, the childhood friend believes that only him can save Saliphie, regardless the evidence (he's outclassed, outmatched and even the person he wants to rescue says he's wrong) and has been shown to be unable to adapt to the circumstances even when his chances to survive (and try again, if so he wishes) depend on it, putting his feelings of revenge above immediate common sense. Even in this last chapter he tries to pull a Thanatos Gambit, to die in a gruesome way so he can show Saliphie that he was Right All Along.
To seek revenge is a classical motivation. To go for a self-centered kamikaze run is borderline edgy if not full edginess, I think.
Keyword is "like". I have no problem with revenge against individuals. When people define their revenge as being against entire races or creeds (inluding masses of people who never even heard of what you were taking revenge about), that's when you get, logically enough, genocide. I have a problem with saying people going that road is perfectly fine. The avenger starts going after innocents for "revenge" and he's become what he hates.
Yep. But at least he got redemption in the eyes of our lord and savior the Author-sama.
Chapter End P.S. - He's still kind of a dick though.
And you believe his story?
The entire story is based on the fact that the main character was treated as shit just to be used as a human sacrifice to the monsters. EVERYTHING we're told but not shown is a goddamn lie.
"Monsters are evil"
"The monster king is going to eat you"
"Humans are the good guys"
"Monsters perfectly obey the monster king"
"Humans are powerless against monsters"
