that was sweet...
Nice. There was maybe one time where I thought, "Would someone really say that?" but I don't mind because, I dunno, it had to be done.
It doesn't steer away but it doesn't steer towards if it got serialized almost for sure there'd be romance but as is there is nothing to imply romantic feelings
This is a good one-shot, it accomplished everything in less than 16 pages. It's a good short about mis-guided hatred, which is totally relevant within high school. I recommend!

Also, just to throw my two cents in: It certainly did not tease you with some "begining of a romance" kinda crud; which the other comments made me think it would.
It ended with what looked like the beginning of a friendship. I'm not arguing that anything would've stopped that friendship from turning to love, but it most definitely was not implied in the least. They most certainly are not in love when the oneshot ends.[/end-long-and-pointless-rant]

Ehh, it's certainly pushing for it if it goes past a one-shot. This is not an example of a story that steers away from romance.
