With all the technology shown in the Gaiden, I'm hoping to see the Naruto-verse continued with something along the lines of ninjas in space.

Seriously, Naruto and Sasuke became the 2 strongest ninjas in the world and they still struggle against some random opponent who has a sharingan that is not even his. This is exactly what is wrong with shounen mangas, no matter how strong the good guys get they will still not be able to beat a weaker bad guy until they are completely desperate... And Sakura still has not changed a bit, still causing trouble for those two...
Regarding the latest chapter, considering the reactions Sasuke has shown towards family members (trying to kill his brother, trying to kill his ancestor, mind stabbing his future wife), him just pointing a sword is comparable to giving her a big hug.
Sasuke is the worst dad ever.

No. Gaiden means side story and like Kakashi Gaiden, it'll be a brief story that fills in missing info. I think it was said this is going set us up for the new Naruto series with Bolt as the MC.
Not sure I am going to enjoy the new story, not that I enjoyed Naruto much after the time skip. Seems like the same recipe of too many questions, too few answers and none of it will be revealed until the end and totally out of nowhere.
Is the main characters a Uchiha now and a girl at that? Will she have a sharingan, I think Uchiha girls can't but she does have the stalker lover or yandere uchiha type.... she stalks Boruto and is obsessed with her father, she's totally a uchiha.
