I've taken a look at the last chapter. It is good and happy.

Well by google translate of wakaki's blog post,I found out that it could end at chapter 70. I was right all along ,It was too mundane of slice of life manga. He needed a darker setting.He can write well,but it was wasted on a garbage overused setting. Wakaki Tamiki has set the World Record of being axed 3 times in a row .Time that could have been spent improving Twgok,wasted on a mere short 70 chapter manga.Good riddance.

I'll tell this as long as someone will understand it - The World God Only Knows wasn't cancelled, magazine which runs it is a specific place and there wasn't a chance in hell they would cancel a series that sold around 200.000 copies, which at the time it was serialized was 4th or 5th best selling manga in magazine and was in top 10 for the publisher which is Shogakukan. Tell me from financial reasons, because company cares about this, why it should be cancelled? Hayate no Gotoku runs there for more than 10 years just because author wants it, Zettai Karen Children too. Wakaki ended it because he wanted to move to something else. The problem was in him choosing the way he wants to end it, not from my perspective though. Cramping ending in 26th volume or giving it one more to round it. He chose first, nothing more. 

2nd as much as I also think Nanoha isn't up to TWGOK, it's just a nice series and after the first volume there's more than enough to say that he did plan it to be max 10-15 volume in capacity, the plot doesn't give him chance for more story until stretched enough, though he couldn't even get past 10 volumes because it just don't sell. Getting cancelled also doesn't mean something is bad, it only means it isn't popular. There's tons of this type of series and that's how market works.

The thing is Nanoha is mediocre if you judge it as a cooking manga, which it was probably originally thought to be planned as mixed in with some episodic patisserie shinanigans. But more recent chapters have devolved less about the cooking, which has and still is mediocre in detail to more about developing the character. i.e, The school festival arc was focused on Seiji developing his own confidence. All the while, the main storyline and circumstances surrounding the brother are dabbed in little by little in light-hearted moments or in flashbacks creating a contrast in character. This makes the story as a whole a lot interesting. Think of it kind of like Hitman Reborn minus the shounen battle.

All the sympathy Wakaki tries to do for taimu is moot.For a dude who "came back",He sure as well does nothing for his brothers.
Had they made some serious effort to sell anything with his "godly" skills,the manga could easily be over by now.Instead taimu messes around for the sake of meaningless "pride" and pointless.
The "plans" are like crappy episodic cartoon series.The ode to Twgok does not help either,shows how hollow this series is on its own merits.

my god, I love out-of-touch intellectual types!

Decided to give the manga a second chance, and I must admit, my first impression was very, very wrong. The central plotline becomes apparent at roughly chapter 50+ and is about the spirit of the dead brother, trying to let MC become his own individual before he fully disappears. Some scenes are actually very impactful and emotional. If you don't mind a slow start, this manga is quite good once the main plotline kicks in. Had hoped the Wakaki did it sooner

Oh my god. Even at the latest chapter ZERO PROGRESS has been made. This manga deserves to be axed.Wakaki tamiki might as well go back to his basement.He might as well donate his writing hand to someone who needs it. The reason why the shop is still trash cause taimu is a trash character.It doesn't even make sense why he won't do the obvious to get the shop going.He won't make the effort to sell anything for a so called "great cook."Taking the stupid issue and making it a big deal. The World God Only Knows was axed just for this?In Twgok something like this could be easily resolved in 3-4 chapters. And Screw you Chihiro shippers.You made him this shitty.

Ok look, I'm never against other scanlators coming in on an existing series as long as they put out a good product while having an edge over the original scanlators. It's a market, in a sense.

But why, why can't (certain) scanlators see that maybe, just maybe, people actually want to read every chapter? And not skip 50?
