Description: | Scientists predicted an imminent meteor impact on Earth that would annihilate civilization, but contrary to their prediction, the meteor missed Earth. Though avoiding immediate destruction, humanity found that the meteor left behind something in its wake, something that would change the course of civilization forever: a new form of bacteria that ate through all known metals. Facing this new era where all metals turn to ash, Jinkichi and his classmates will have to survive with little help from the Japanese government. Some of his classmates have already begun to understand that the norms of the past have collapsed, and lawlessness will be the new law. Jinkichi will have to protect himself as well as his classmates from the violence that ensues. |

Where? please give source
the raws go up to chapter 43
I'm too lazy to check, but is there really a scene where the metal was shown to vanish and not simply partly corroded?
just imagine that bacteria have a new chemical substance that synthesize with metal and turns it to ash like substance.
My problem is, no matter how or what kind of bacteria it is, such a fast degradation should lead to a veeeery heavy air pollution issue; insted ,all that metal seems to turn into nothing and vanish completely (I mean, you can break atomic bonds with lots of energy, but you can't just throw all those atoms you get out the window)
MC's sidekick best guy
Also, is it eating just iron or all metals? They seem kind of vague on this and it's kind of fucking important
>Hey do you smell a gas
>Lets light up a fire
As an HVAC student, I couldnt agree more
Dude, I like this MC. I think the new attitudes that others have adopted isn't too far from the truth and he made a decision to help the little girl regardless of that. He's a big guy and I respect that.
just trust the mc. read the raws. this guy is my man.
This couple deserves the Darwin award.
What's scary is that we don't need this kind of bacteria to neutralize out civilization..
Our civilization is fragile indeed
Thank God he helped the little kid. I was going to be really really upset if he didn't.
Merciless coo, yup that'd be her.
You know, I'll be sad if that really is the last time we see MC's friend.
agreed! i hope she stays this badass
Lol that ended up pretty nicely at least.
Humans use iron in their bloodstream to live.
Don't think about it too hard.
