Hey guys! As batoto is closing down, just giving a heads up that I plan to continue Nanatsuya either on my tumblr or my livejournal (I'll either upload all pages or just provide a download link - I'll see). Apologies for the current hiatus as uni/irl has really tackled me, but I want to go back to working on this soon.
Btw the raw already up to 24, and RhapsodyInBlue (either the same person or different) translate up to chapter 9, in otakumole.
Apologies for the delay! Haven't heard from my cleaner in a while plus school IRL has kept me busy, but I do hope to get back on the roll next month latest!
Can someone change the image to the Volume 2 cover in the spoiler? I've tried a few times but it's not showing up for me (unless it's just my internet acting weird whoops) [edit] Thank you!
As opposed to the wild exciting world of gemology.
Really, it's all about the characters. Nodame Cantabile got countless fans to wig out over a concert pianist and a conductor even if they didn't know Mozart from Motorhead.
Shrug, yeah, but the subject matter zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Well, there's also 87 Clockers.
Oh THANK GOD! Another Ninomiya work to follow. I've been in Nodame withdrawal for, like, 3 years...
The author produces fantastic and information-filled mangas, seriously it's fantastic. Hope the romance buds in this one. :3
im waiting for somehting to happen so that i will like the male mc. so far his character is getting worse
It's cute! Love this one!! Thanks RhapsodyInBlue!!
(wow it rhymed)
edit after reading: this is such a nice work, RhapsodyInBlue! thank you sooo much! I didn't know much about jewellery before, but this manga made me curious about it. for the last half an hour I've been searching the web for more info about diamond etc, just to understand this manga better. such a vast world this is.. thanks again! (and of course thanks Nonomiya-sensei, even if you'll never be able to read this )
CHAPTER 1 IS ALREADY OUT!!? THANK YOU SO MUCH, RHAPSODY! I'M READING IT WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE-- I'M SO HAPPYYYY ; v ; )/
Thank you again for this translation-- it really means a lot!
P.S. I really miss Nodame Cantabile whenever I read this. *cries*
I have uploaded a revised version of Chapter 1 which has 44 billion years changed to 4.4 billions years like it should be haha, sorry again!
Now that uni is out of the way, I've finally got the chance to start working on Chapter 2 which will be out by end of this month or early next month latest. Apologies for a long wait. If you makes you feel better, the original Japanese chapters are released every THREE months... so you have it better than Japanese readers atm :b
Well that's embarrassing, I did translate that as 4.4 billion years originally but I must have missed that dot when I wrote up the transcript LOL OTL
I will correct that error later on, probably once I get my contributor status (which won't be for a while sadly).
Thank you for the offer~ If something geology-related comes up that I don't understand I'll make sure to contact you ^^
Oh, interesting! Zircons actually are the oldest substances we've found on earth, though they're not quite 44 billions years old, haha (the universe is ~18 billion years old). They're about 4.4 billion years old, and have provided evidence to water being on earth that long ago. Cool stuff.
P.S. I study geology, so if you would like someone to look over your mineralogy, gemology, etc., I'd be happy to help. <:
I'M SO HAPPY WITH THIS ONE
(I can't follow 87 clock well..)
I have this feeling that Ninomiya always make story with a certain main subject which obviously (all of them) not her own experience (business, music, agriculture, computer, and now mineral stone) thus research it thoroughly. Bravo
This one has oodles of potential
Promising. I feel like she really breaks his cool. Thanks Rhapsody.
Edit: From the same author as Nodame?! I knew the art was familiar, oh man I'm excited now.
