now that batoto is shutting down, what website do you guys use to read webtoon? some recommended sites only host manga and not manhwa/webtoon. help me out

In case you haven't heard yet, mangadex.com is a brand new website in the same vein as batoto where many (if not most) of the scanlators who once uploaded here are now uploading there. Although My Male Friend isn't there yet, I'm sure it will be there eventually (if I have to upload it myself).

 나의 남자 사람 친구 (Literally translates to "My Male Person Friend") To differentiate between "남자 친구" which translates to [guy friend] but is used to refer to boyfriend. 남사친 is used as slang to refer to male friends. 

They may have pizza faces indeed but there's still something charming about the art <3

Dunno how conscious he is of it, she's pretty clearly not really aware yet, but they definitely both keep starting to do something the way you might do it if you're courting and then quickly taking it back with the ha-ha-just-a-friend-teasing-you.

Well . . . I don't like the thing she did where she said "Oh, no, no, I'll take the subway" twice but didn't mean it; if your feet hurt and you could really use the taxi, just say what you bloody mean.  I also would probably prefer a girl who would just wear flats and not let her feet die.  But I wouldn't go so far as to say dislike.

Not that I'm enthralled with that dude.  Nice enough fellow and all, but there's something 'off', and that's aside from me feeling that if your work situation is such that you'll have to regularly blow off your date, do the world a favour and don't date.  Alternatively, grow a spine and say to someone relevant, "I'm going on a big date tonight so my phone will be off."  But that aside there's something . . . he's trying to impress her, but there's nothing wrong with that as such . . . something fake?  Something subtly-condescending-but-trying-not-to-show-it?  Partly it's the art, the cartoonist handed the poor guy this insipid insincere-looking smile so we all know he's the wrong one.

You are definitely right, the moment you see that smile the first word that pops in my head is "suspicious." He could be a genuinely nice guy, but those overly smooth lines and that smile keep nudging the red flag parts of my brain.  I keep anticipating a "AHA!" moment where he somehow exposed as a fraud while at the same time thinking that maybe the author knows that we know he looks suspicious and thus the real twist is he's not actually suspicious at all but a misunderstood nice guy. I feel like I'm having flashbacks to the poison wine scene in Princess Bride.

Am I the only one who's finding the FMC more and more dis-likable as a character with each passing chapter?

I'm only reading for the translator notes. 'I'm sorry but his facial structure makes him look like a pizza slice with nice hair' is one of those golden lines.

I realize that in Asian culture, you're considered more attractive if you have a smaller face, but the proportions of these people like... yaoi proportions.

 could someone link to the raws? would atleast like to know how far behind are the translations, whether it's completed or still ongoing  in korea  etc, already  checked mangaupdates, they usually have links to weebtons but not this time

Seems fair to me.  What if the ID showed she was a goofy goober?  Can't let them in your bar.

I just found this, and I'm enjoying it, but not half as much as the translator's notes. Keep up the good work, ShiningRegalia!
