Beautiful story and characters, but crying out to tie up those loose ends...

Easily one of my favorite short series out there.  Something about the atmosphere of the building, creepy, decrepit, yet beautiful.  Seeing life gradually get breathed back into it by its new human occupants.  Something about those moments where they take pleasure in the little things like cleaning or getting the lights working or watching TV.  Their positivity despite their circumstances.  There just isn't another manga quite like this one.

(And yeah, there's smut.  It's there, I like it for what it is, since it illustrates a big part of Daikichi and Kana's relationship and how they take so much simple joy in just being together.  But it can and will definitely turn people off.  That's the big take it or leave it thing with this series)

In the beginning there's a bit too much sex... But honestly, it's good wholesome sex. Fun to read, and super sweet. I really enjoyed this read. It wasn't gratuitous, and didn't feel out of place. Love it

Quite smutty, especially at first, and most of said smut is pretty pointless.  I thought the bit with "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus..." was really nice.  Shopkeeper-san was probably my favorite character.  It's no masterpiece, and the plot is relatively superficial, but if the smut doesn't bother you, it's a decent read (I did read through it in one sitting, after all).  It seems like a somewhat arbitrary point to end, but maybe the author said everything they needed to, and that's okay.

good manga to read <3

thank you Solaris :)

Ah by the way, why the boss's employee (Yaguchi) was asking about dead people and cried after she heard boss's words? Don't tell me she's the spirit of the body Daikichi found on his job site? o.O

No, that was a guy. Just a few panels before they indicate the girl has some sort of illness. Putting two and two together it seems like the illness might be terminal and she was coming to grips with her mortality.
goddang it man.. manly tears were shed.. this mango is so good, 10/10

This was such a sweet manga. Even with all the ecchi.

Considering how much of this was sex it had an amazing story. I'd have liked to have seen the point where she passes on or at the very least the reason she cut herself up. 5/5. Would buy.

Very good Slice of Life.

Many touching moments and all in all a good read.

Great stuff. I'm hoping for a Saikano-like sequel where the world is going under and kana is working for the army as the ultimate ghost weapon. ひひひひ

A really great story. I think it could have been longer and there were a few plot threads left loose, but all in all, very heart warming.

a great manga, the ending was satisfying as well
@bakanki I think it's just her getting to emotional thinking about death (since she did see a ghost).
It felt to me like a reaction of a woman who has been thinking real hard on how much weight she had in the world, and what would become of her after death (reason why some people turn to religion).

Good manga, also that was a great spin on the old generic ghost/romance stories where the ghost is trying desperately to pass on and "oopsy daisy"...she fell in love.
Great manga. It's so heartwarming. If there's one thing I don't like about it, it's the fact that Kana's hair is purple,fortunately the manga is not full color ^^;;

Ah by the way, why the boss's employee (Yaguchi) was asking about dead people and cried after she heard boss's words? Don't tell me she's the spirit of the body Daikichi found on his job site? o.O
This is SUCH a beautiful manga. It's so full of life and love. It is for mature audiences, but I recommend it highly. It's so wonderful. ^_^ It makes me feel very happy and content.
Gender be damned, this really was a beautiful story. If I was prone to tears I'd probably have shed a couple.
idgaf if it has smut or not. such a good plot. the smut gives it the feeling that she is infact a real human being so it doesn't matter if it has scenes depicting that. nearly started bawling my eyes out towards the end <3
I agree with Dros, very much so.
I realy recommend you read this manga it was great... I don't normally read Seinen, but this one was just amazing. I recommend you read this even if you don't read Seinen lake me.

PS: I'm a guy...
