So onwards many mysteries unrevealed. Also I wanna see how tatsumi and momo meets and married, tatsumi's story how is he left home, yukari stories, and momo orphanage stories.

Seriousness and drama, agreed.  And there's certainly a strong current of serious and drama in this.  But the headphones idea, while frankly quite cool IMO, just doesn't seem to me to gel with how this mangaka does things.  It's a little too close to the creepy and twisted side.

That is an interesting idea but I don't think it's this mangaka's style.

Honestly it can be something as simple as shutting out the outside world. Same thing as the sleeping in the closet. It isn't uncommon for people with anxiety to do these kind of things. Being able shut off or even just muffle outside noises can have a calming effect and make the person feel safer.

Thanks for the trans but it's a bit hard to understand, especially in page 8. I think in that page Yukari's talking about a girl rather than guy since he's working in all girl school and that girl in last panel, Kagami, is the one he's talking about. 

Actually he's talking about the headmaster/principal, and the two girls who also experienced it (as opposed to 'old guy' which is singular) are saying that they like him. It was a bit hard to translate since some stuff doesn't fit well into english without drastically changing it
