I like this manga quite a lot. One of it's most remarkable traits is that it manages to be dark without being emo. o_O
On a side note, could somebody redo the Nayuki Love chapters? They're really confusing.

Jesus, I would be eternally frustrated to be stuck in the body of a 5-6 year old for eternity like Ume. I think the youngest I would feel comfortable being immortal would be sometime after 12 at least... Having absolutely no strength would be a major downer.
Kinda makes you wonder what would make such a young kid desire suicide at some point to get an apple in the first place.

I also liked how the arc ended. I had quibbles with the way they set it up, yes, but the resolution was first rate.
In a sense, Eguriko got a stomachache from eating too many apples . . .
