And a lot of animals evolved to avoid snakes even humans. Their is a reason why snakes are a sign of evil in stories and such. That's why maybe most of them are still afraid of it even if it has a mind of it's own i mean we saw a crocodile so reptiles so yeah.
That snake is prob also a teacher cause all teachers are reptiles in their world (maybe it is true that we are being ruled by shapshifting lizards.)
There's just something about the latest chapters which feel....Tepid. Superficial. Worn out and dry.

Have we actually seen non-dinosaur reptiles in the series? Seems like anything that doesn't have hands or at least something resembling them gets chalked off as "not sentient being".
