Whoops!
Apparently the kanji they used for "billion" has had it's usage modified in modern-day to mean "100 million"
So, because of the manga's age, it seems it was still written using the old meaning of "billion".
I've fixed the numbers and released a second version, thanks for noticing! ^_^

Fascinating... I had no idea that that was a thing. I assume the word in question is 億; but then... what on earth did they used to use for 10,000 10,000's? ichi-man-man? (That's kind of fun to say actually)

What are these maths at the end? Is it 200 billion or 2 trillion? I'm assuming it's actually 200 billion... I was waiting for the punchline for wherever the remaining 1.8 trillion came from.

I assume this is all from converting from a four-digit-seperator number system?

Thanks for the new chapter!

From what I understand real life caught up with the editor. I've had the entirety of volume one (Up to chapter five) translated since March. No idea when it'll end up being edited or anything, but it's by no means dropped.

Oh, good shit! I was actually just thinking about this manga earlier today. For some reason. Nice to see it's back.

You can find them all in Japanese on http://amazon.co.jp
Seems they also recently came out with a new "SHUEISHA JUMP REMIX" edition, which collects all of the chapters into two 500+ page omnibus volumes.
If you're looking to support the author and the series, getting those is probably the best way to do-so.

Wow! This brings back memories. I had no idea AKIMOTO Osamu was picking this series again. I have the original 4 Shonen Jump volumes (purchased before Amazon existed... before commercial English translations... before online scanlations... yes, I am OLD!), although it seems I might have missed a 5th volume? Back in the day, the series seemed to die after volume 4, so I stopped looking for it. I'm going to special order the Remix versions as well. Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks for the new chapter. I thought this series was dropped and started reading some raws on the web. Thank god I was mistaken and you guys are still working on it.

I'm fairly sure it's just one of the colour pages from when it reappeared in Jump Square.

That's right. It's from the first new chapter in Jump SQ.
So far there's been two new chapters in Jump SQ, the first was in the March 2017 issue and the second in the September 2017 issue.
Looks like the new chapters are going to be fairly spaced-out in terms of release dates, which makes some amount of sense since Akimoto-san is now heading up four different series in four different magazines. This means it might be a while before the new series gets a volume release, though.

As for an update on ch3, I got caught up with other projects but we eventually found another typesetter for it. They typesetted it and now It's going through QC on my end. I'm hoping to have it out sometime this week.

Awww, why isn't this being translated anymore? It was good. :(

Who updated the volume cover?
Need your info. Is that a new volume cover or magazine?
Planning to buy when a new volume is released.

I'm loving everything about this manga so far.

Jin Clice, superspy. A man already dead. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bion— what do you mean we're already over budget!? Fine, just plop his brain into some random schmuck's body instead.

[Chapter 2]

...wait, our budget has been increased!? Boo-yah!! Gas him and bring him to the operation table — Project Bionic (Wo)man is a-go!

[ x ] masturbate

This pleases me.

Thanks for the new chapter!

Oh, hmm... not sure.
Our group was somehow able to find used copies for all 5 volumes that could be shipped internationally, I thought it was on Amazon, but it may have been elsewhere... I forget. Perhaps Rakuten? http://global.rakuten.com
As a side note, the series has also started being serialized again after a 10+ year hiatus. They're printing it in Jump SQ, starting with the March issue. ^_^

I've checked Rakuten. The book title in Japanese and ISBN is not listed. Now I'm currently waiting for a price quote for shipping proxy. Hopefully it's still available.

Regarding the continued serialisation, perhaps because the author ended Kochikame, hence more time to continue Mr. Clice. Truly a happy coincidence that you picked up this series now :)

Update:
I ordered the two volumes through cdjapan proxy shipping service.
They charged 500 ¥ + 10 % of product price.
Once the tankobon starts printing again, I hope they include the volumes before hiatus.

Is the main character's name "Jin Clice" a reference to John Cleese?

His name is pretty interesting, actually.
It's initially spelled using the following kanji:
繰巣 陣
but is then later spelled using katakana, like so:
ジン・クリス

However, even when it's spelled with kanji, there's furigana showing that it's pronounced the same way, just with the names reversed (in the traditional Japanese "family name first, given name second" format).

It should also be noted that in the title for Part 2, "The Surprised Jin Clice", the name is spelled out "Jin Clice" using Romaji. However, in the title for Part 1, "The Morning of Jin Clice's Death", it's spelled out in the kanji I listed earlier.

Also, on pg 14 we can see the text on his passport, which says "Jin Clis" in cursive and 陣 Cleis in print. This is also the same panel where his name is mentioned in katakana. However, because spelling mistakes in art are pretty common, we decided not to use these spellings, but instead go with "Cleese" as his undercover surname.

Cute 90s girl(s)? Sign me the fuck up fam

Thanks for the info. But the brand new copies doesn't ship to my country. Do you have other sites to recommend?

What about that Izusu and Suzuka?

I was going to point this out, but opted not to.

Oh, Kochikame mangaka, nice.

The art style is very clearly late 80s'/early 90's, and has another element not seen in this day and age: trademarks, brands, and marques aren't dummied out or intentionally misspelled.

What about that Izusu and Suzuka?

Spoiler

Is the main character's name "Jin Clice" a reference to John Cleese?
