I hadn't read the spoilers in the comments before reading this one. but, yes, i absolutely agree with goldenmoon. those two are quite similiar. i like the story, however i prefer the movie other this manga. still need to read the original novel ^^.
Few chapters in I remembered humans are people not objects and stopped reading.
This is one that will stay with me.
