ah, this isn't about the manga so much as it is about a certain user. I always enjoy+look forward to seeing Mr.PurpleLibraryGuy comment on romance genre stuff, I feel like he's a friend even if we don't talk at all cuz I always see him make good jokes/commentary on pretty much everything romance I read, in particular if it's good or there's something redeemable about the title, so I was pretty sad I didn't see him here this time...
He's definitely the cool guy EVERYONE knows in a group cuz he's friendly and knowledgeable except in this case the group/clique is romance genre manga/manhua/webtoons haha
This manga is pretty genuine, lighthearted, and wholesome but without being too sickeningly sweet or cute imo--at least for me. Typically I'd be frustrated, even annoyed, at the slow pace of events but that's exactly the point. Usually I hate slice of life even though I like romanc genre stuff so I really gotta give credit to stuff like this that has me eagerly reading and willing to stay for. Zen said it p well in regards to the pacing, these kiddos can move at their own pace little by little. no need to rush. we know what the endgame is anyway and the fun part is the yummy ride getting there. I look forward to more from this series and hopefully more stuff from this mangaka. This is very promising and the art is exactly the style Im into. We're all cheering for you Zen lol
I find it strange, but somehow refreshing that in this manga the middle schoolers and grade schoolers are talking in mature way about love than the adults and high schoolers in other shounen mangas.
