Currently reading chapter 24 (the part where Akise and co find Yukiteru and Yuno in the abandoned city) and I must say, I'm impressed and at the same time, appalled by the anime adaptation. The anime managed to further establish Akise as an intellectual individual who had sharp mind, keen eyes and vigilant at all time. Yet at the same time, the in between core plots are woven with fanservice, unnecessary humour and generally declining thrill after previous barrages of plot exposition and life or death situation. I'd always wondered why is episode 13 considerably weaker than the rest in term of execution; guess I've my answer now.
Perhaps they're trying to fit it into the time frame by extending the episode. Another general flaw of adaptation I presume; they've a quota of episodes to reach. :(
Edit: Let's not forget how awkward is it for Yuno not to realize Kousaka climbing the air vent and infiltrated her base of operations compared to what happened in the manga.

Use spoiler tags, not all of us has finished this.

dude

His one hobby he cant do any more b/c some giant space time robot made him play a game. and now he cant even let off steam by keeping his diary.

A MC that only cries, gets beaten/cheated, and is always saved by the girl. Can it get any more pathetic then this? The fact that the plot has some big holes and is predictable is just a secondary issue, though I'm still trying to understand why some people are saying this is a great read. Because it's definitely not.

At least the staff comments are hilarious.
Well I'm done with this.

Yukki really isn't that bad at all. The people around him are all just batshit insane. If anything, I'd actually say he's holding up pretty well.

I mean, at least he's not a Mary Sue.

Just finished reading this manga.

And... like... whoa O_o

He might have thrown him because he was too disgusted to bother killing him.

Pathetic MCs aren't necessarily bad. He struggles with it literally till the last chapter and pretty much everyone calls him out on it.

I don't know what plot holes or predictability you're talking about, the plot seemed to hold together pretty well.

I can understand why you personally might not enjoy it if pathetic mc aren't your thing but that doesn't make it a bad read in general

Just finished watching the anime and now read the last chapter. Anything important that I missed?

...easily become my top 5 favorite manga...this yandere, I can bear with (Yoda's speaking style)

@Demhouser about that one

Spoiler

Just finished this manga but I still dont get why Yuno

Spoiler
can anybody elaborate on this?

She's looking for the perfect future where she can live together happily with Yuki and she won't let anyone get in her way not even: (Yuki). Do you get it now?

nice ending

just one question: why did they fight for the seat of deus ex machina anyway? as far as I got it, he can't really do anything you'd expect a god to be able to do(like not dying?).

@Revassi She loved him so much that she kept doing that to keep meeting him again and again. In a sense, yeah he was a pawn, but it just so happens that she got too attached to the second one.

Reading this after watching the anime, I realized the Hinata arc is so much better in the manga. All the reasoning, actions and expressions are better portrayed while the way the anime version rearrange the sequence of events revolving the gambling part indirectly doomed the arc itself.
Gonna reread this. Definitely on my top ten.
@Seed

This is just the nature of time travel stories. They are paradoxful in nature and naturally plot holes arise, intentionally or not.

Complicated tl;dr

Indecisive characters annoy the hell outta me, but other than that, that was a good read.
MINENE.. your hand. :( ahhhhh~~!!! your beauty!! TT^TT
From what i know, the phones are just a medium for the diaries to work, since the diary can be anything, doesn't that mean the phones need to be charged? there comes out 2 questions
1.How does Yuno charge her phone?
2.How does that server run without a power source?

oh and i think i know why there are flying babies
Spoiler
Quite interesting.
I loved reading it. really.
manga or anime?
Meh, there are a few plotholes, but I really love this manga. But.. Yeah. Uh, SPOILER ALERT. I have no clue how to do the spoiler things, everytime I try it messes up, so dont read anymore past this if you dont wanna know a pivotal part of this story.

I dont understand why Yukki still couldnt have won and Yuno be alive. I mean, technically speaking the Yuno we all know and love wasnt part of this worlds game, since she technically came from another won. So, she really wasnt a part of THIS game.. Meaning, Yukki could have killed everyone but her and still won, with her being alive.

Second: Why couldnt Yuno just grab this worlds Yukki and take him reaalllyyyyyyyy far back in time, in a time period where the survival game couldnt possibly happen? You know, a time leap. But much farther back, WITH Yukki. :x. Oh well.

/sigh
