IMHO it feels more like a compliment to Akise's character
and the best part is, that it doesn´t contradict with the original series
Some part of me thinks that this series was forced to be cut short with an improper ending -- the awkwardness of the last chapter spoiled the ending itself.
Unfortunately, many things that seem good just can't continue. In the end, the author and everyone who participated in this work need to make a living. I can't say I blame them.
