Spoiler

I think i have played this game once before. But it was all in japanese and so i didn't understand a thing.

Mishishi~

Oh hey, another Kiseki fan! Ao was super awesome, eh? Best game by Falcom so far. And yeah, this 4-koma really doesn't give a shit about spoilers, just a fair warning to those who haven't played any Falcom games at all.

Except spoiler-related joke?

Ch18-23 on hiatus until we get bored of Dark Souls 3.

I can't believe i laughed to a character i want to punch most in the game.

Man, I'm really glad I played Ao now. Knowing exactly who Sigmund and Shirley are made this chapter hilarious. Although I have to say, seeing one of the most brutal and bloodthirsty characters in the series in a maid outfit was pretty disturbing.

Spoiler

Anelace. This series is now complete.

"Atlas, son of Selios and Flora"

I think his mother's name was Dyna?

Oops small typo there. Thanks for spotting it out!

Ahhhhh, it makes sense now. Yeah, for progress reasons you cannot go back (or maybe it was a huge pain to do so, it's been years since I played it).

As a piece of advise, if you are confused about something related to a game you haven't played you could download it for a brief play or check a Youtube video (or some videogame review, Hardcore Gaming 101 has covered a lot of Falcom games)

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind since the chapter 14 will cover the Legend of Heroes II

Here's the intro of the DS:LoL I game (Turbo CD version):

Thanks for pointing that out! I was a bit confused about that line since I have not played Legend of Heroes 1 myself. The underleveled part is my interpretation of the literal meaning of unable to return to beginning. I'll revised the script and reupload a new translation soon.

"I remember recklessly speeding through the game avoiding enemy encounters to the point where I became underleveled and unable to progress"

^ How the heck do you do that? I remember that game having such a ridiculous high-rate encounter that you could even get into a fight just by standing quiet in the middle of the world map.

In fact, the poison magic was actually a blessing there because instead of reducing the enemies' HP, it would instantly kill them in a few turns if they didn't get rid of that status!!

Uhhh because I really love the Falcom games ( more than SE, yes I said it, suck it) and I find it annoying not able to play any of the previous games before 2000 to really enjoy full extent of understanding the gags/references. Happy?

Its like laughing at an Unlimited Blade Works reference (Unlimited Maid Works) but never played/watched/read any Fate

Also, that simiale doesnt make much sense, probably cos I own a car and I enjoy driving.

To be fair, that is actually supposed to make sense to u especially if u own a car and enjoy driving..

imagine if someone comes to you (who drives) and says exactly that...

"I find roads annoying, because I don't have a car."

are you going to take him seriously?

of course not, because the cause of his annoyance is his own problem and him alone... not the road, not the car, or anyone else.

substitute road for this work, and the car for basically 'playing the game' and you get?

yeah, that's what he was pointing out...

GO FIGHT!

>Agate-tated mood

Love it. The translation for this is really well done.

Its obviously not intended for anyone who didn't play those games, so why should it be annoying because of that?

That's like saying "I find roads annoying, because I don't have a car."

I only ever played some Ys games and I really enjoyed this manga, but sure it's annoying to actually don't know most references here mmm...

It's like saying "It's annoying that I have a car but I can't drive it", you can drive it if you learn how to, not because of the car itself mmm...

yeah just like you said, I don't really get the refer but I still enjoy the manga. If anything, the manga make me more curious and want to try these games.

I don't have a car but I still enjoy ride a bicycle or ride a motorcycle, I just want to have a car to get the feeling not envy or annoyed at the road"

I find this quite annoying when most of the gags are hard to get when you havent played most of the games, espeically the Legend of Heros series.

I enjoy even if I don't understand a thing (like see new series of the game I'm looking forward to 's walkthough on youtube with Japanese not translate yet). It just make me more looking forward to the game.

You can try to get emulator or something to try out these Falcom games (maybe illegal), so you can enjoy it later. No more annoyed at the gags.

Damn, I wish I hadn't started reading this yet. I started playing Zero no Kiseki recently and it ruined a huge plot twist at the end of chapter two that should have been an "oh shit" moment. Oh well, at least that's the only twist that's been spoiled for me.
