Can't just post a thread for this manga, it seems.

I did have some criticism, but in the end I think it's a funny and cute series. The age gap doesn't even feel like an issue.
Well, that was a ride. I'm really glad I'm not the only one who was a bit wary about the age difference (I have seen some really weird people on the Internet in my day) but still, it was a good read.
If I learned anything from reading this manga, it is this: kissing is like alcohol.
The feel of this manga really reminds of Densha Otoko with the whole otaku sort of dude and a beautiful/sweet love interest.
I've actually avoided this manga for a long time because of the age difference, but gave it a chance by accident today. Just read the whole thing in one go and smiling really big right now!
This is a very strange manga. It dips together the insanely-innocent world of children and the paranoid-schizophrenic world of adults. The little girl is pure and honest, while the guy is fearful and suspicious of everything in the world.
Naive, and quasi-realistic.
I really don't get these authors. This could easily be a feel-good manga about the relationship between an adult and a teenager, but instead it is this incredibly awkward experience in which a 30 years old man becomes excessively desperate for the attention of a 14 years old girl.
Generally that would not be the problem, but the fact a 30 years old man would just treat a small girl like his equal in the world of romance is as far apart from "innocent" and from "realistic" as it can possibly be.... It's just insane.
I found myself skipping a lot of text, simply because the protagonist's monologues were all bloody lunacy, they never made any sense and they never went anywhere. There's no point to read most of his monologues because there's no actual conclusion, it's just a dump of text which exists to waste pages.
The manga is pretty fun for its seldom humor and harsh depiction of reality, but I cannot help but feel the protagonist was made to be so horribly flawed, just in order to pad out the story with his endless stream of consciousness, rather have any actual point.
If you are not sure if the Power of True Love beats Creepiness as everybody is saying (and I agree), I'd like to share something else I've felt: (not spoiling anything in particular)
There it is. That whole discussion was stuck in mind while reading and it sure feels good to put in words. I hope this can convince someone to give a chance to this cute, sweet love story.
This was possibly one of the most adorable things I've ever read. For anyone on the fence about reading this, thinking that the main character is a creeper or stn, I would say give it a try! Their relationship is honestly really sweet, and more pure and innocent then what you would expect to find in a seinen.
I rate this manga: Adorable/10
Not trying to rain on everyone's parades here or start an argument, but I couldn't really get into this one. Couldn't get past the whole MC is a pedophile thing, even if it was totes adorbs. Also, found the ending to be rather unrealistic.
Plot twist:
I kinda feel bad for Prez.
But I did love this series and its conclusion completely.
That aside:
10/10 would d'awwwwww
It's kind of rare to find a manga about a relationship this pure.
Expected child abuse. Got...well, not child abuse. I don't even know what to think, other than I would so take that president for myself

Ironically, this is one of the more innocent love stories out there.
That was a very nice ending. I feel warm inside. 9/10
