Shiki and Kouran are both struggling to maintain the status but I feel Shiki nows how she feels about him already anyway, Nonetheless, it feels great to have someone come right out and tell the emperor the truth. I can see the beginnings of a love triangle, given how invested the other guy is about the developing circumstances.
I feel like Kouran is getting prettier <3

Interesting you should mention this - it is definitely the same for me. Both series definitely have their own charm ... although perhaps "Colette decides to die" might have the edge in terms of enjoyment for me, this series is still quite good, and I eagerly look forward to every chapter release (being the old romantic sap that I am and all that).

Shiki is beginning to be conscious of some things finally, no doubt partly kept at arm's length before now due to the intense amount of daily work he has to put in (lots to think about XD ).
