Nahh, Except for the caterpillar eyebrows, their faces are too normal.
To be Initial D the faces need to be more distorted.
Not to mention the cars are more realistic, no need to suspend disbelief for the MC's car to win.
I'm just not sure if this will ever be as popular as Initial D.
