This was fun! And fairly different for a shoujo! I'm also not quite sure what he means by the colors "not spreading". I thought at first that it was because the colors mixed, but I feel like he's referring to "contrast". Maybe? It doesn't make any sense in the context this "spreading".

Isn't black the combination of all colors?
Fun! There was one thing that I didn't quite understand--I have a feeling there's something tough about the translation, like some Japanese artistic term with more meaning than what we got or something. Either that or I'm just not getting it.
What do you suppose he meant about colours not "spreading" and he couldn't forgive them?
