now we have manga for glasses fetish....
what a time to be alive...
I think she said "lenses not included". edit: "lens not included"
Hell even my cheap lenses are worth ~ 100 bucks for a pair (up to 150 if I want some basic shenanigans added).
I'm looking for new glasses and it'll probably cost me north of 300$ for the entire thing (to last the next 10 years).
Question is whether those 400 are for frame + lenses, or frame only. The latter would be a bit much imho.
Guess living in a country with low GDP has its pluses. I don't know anyone who'd have glasses more expensive than mine, hell, until my current ones I always spent less than $75 on a single pair.
150 is real cheap. I've had pairs well upwards of 200, and they can easily reach 300+ with brand name frames. This number only goes up with special coatings or better lenses. Remember that Warby Parker was revolutionary for being able to lower prices so drastically, and their pairs are at a minimum 100.
So basically "Fuku wo Kiru Nara" but with glasses and a sexy shop assistant instead of a sister.
Nice. Also, $400 for glasses?! I thought I was crazy when I spent $150 on my glasses + lenses... then again, it might've been more when adjusted for Japan's prices.
r/manga, wordpress, Helvetica Scans or Meraki Scans?
... So this is the world of glasses! *strokes his thumb against his nose while looking towards the sky with aspiration as he arrives on scene*
Stumbling across mangas like these is what I will probably miss most about batoto...
As long as there's a Twitter and/or RSS feed for your releases (does anyone actually use RSS anymore?), I'm comfortable wherever they are.
A rather unfortunate timing for a new release, but hey, it's done anyways, might as well.
If anyone have any suggestion on what we should use to release our manga in the future, I'm all ears
