Let's humour your literal mindedness for a second. I didn't say which 4 pages, did I?

To this I can't but help say: BOOM SHAKALAKA!

( An attempt at an argument, using baseless assumptions and an inability to grasp the concept of hyperbole)

Let's humour your literal mindedness for a second. I didn't say which 4 pages, did I?

To clarify, I was referring to the mindset necessary to unironically appreciate and enjoy this kind of story.

That scares me.

While discussing extremely bad series, I was informed that this was the absolute bottom of the barrel.

After reading 4 pages, I agree.

This shit doesn't offend me, it's so pathetic the only feeling it evokes in me is sadness.

But what really scares the beejebers out of me, is that there are enough people out there, with such poor discernment that they think this is good; to warrant a manga, and buy it.

This is the Donald Trump of manga.

Page 1: 3 frames of a man with a sword prepared to strike a figure in the foreground, with words of some sort of great betrayal.

Page 2: A splash page with a small harem on it.

Page 3: Soldiers running up the stairs, and bursting into the room to find the man beheading a woman.

Page 4: A panning shot of the man over the woman's body, with the soldiers in the doorway behind him, and a close up of the blood and expression on the mans face.

At this point you decided the series was "extremely bad," "absolute bottom of the barrel," and then condemned anyone who disagreed with you.

His name is "Ein Soph Aur".

That is hebrew for "Infinite Light" and is the kabalah/sephiroth name for God (although its normally translated as "Ohr" not "Aur")

This is the most gary stu character I have ever seen. Even worse than Goblin Rou from RE:Monster

At least Rou managed to be funny and a bit more likeable.

Like I said earlier, not every villain need to try hard to be some type of Joker. You don't like this type of villain who spends his days creating his dungeon and sex up girls, fine; but your opinion of 'boring' is simply subjective and shouldn't be imposed on other people because I myself rather see this than 'boring' heroes wasting entire volumes to never get any stronger, or ever getting laid, or being hellbent on saving a world full of people he never even met.

If you have been paying attention, Aur even said that he's not a Mary Sue, he's not OP like Ainz or Rou. He can be defeated in single combat without the use of his mind games and tricks, like when he fought the hero girl. That's why he needs to form contract with demons to protect his ass so Idk where you get that "Mary Sue" thing from. I agree with you though about the interaction with the recent girls, especially Wikipedia girl and cleric bitch. Too many inconsistencies.

Some of your questions have already been answered:

_ Motivation? He hates human and his hatred fuels his motivation to create a dungeon for himself to stay away from human.

_ Central conflict? Thus far it's between him and the dumbass wannabe heroes like Alan treading into his lair just to get screwed, or maybe Aur vs. village elders who refuse his terms. Again, whether people like this type of conflict or not is entirely subjective but your desired "central conflict" is there all along. A conflict can always shift focus so maybe he'll fight stronger foes in the future, who knows? It's still 12 freaking chapters and aren't most stories taking more chapters to introduce the mastermind/boss?

_ Who or what is he up against? Like I said, against adventurers/trespassers and village elders. Could be against different enemies in the future. What type of enemies should he fight to please you? Gods? Animals? Republicans?

_ Theme? Dungeon building, negotiating with humans and manipulating them, trolling adventurers by sexing the females and NTR-ing the males, conquering villages that refuse negotiation and possibly fighting against a kingdom in the future.

_ Why care? Well if you don't like what's presented thus far then like I said, it's time to stop and pick up something else and if you do like it, stick around. You already said he's a badly written villain/MC so why are you still here? Are you waiting for someone like Alan to appear and beat the big bad guy to fulfill your hero fantasy? Or are you here for the smut, which is subpar at best? Idk man, I'm very perplexed by your insistence to stay and read something you dislike...

You got it really wrong:

-Motivation is something that goes beyond of: I don't like this. It's saying WHY you don't like this, in specific and concrete terms. Saying: I was betrayed doesn't serve us. And hating for the sake of hating is certainly not a reason, but a feeling. A motivation is something you want to do and you're able to explain it.

-Central conflict: like many said. There must be conflict, a clash. Murderstomping the oposition doesn't count. There's no plot in truth, no opponent whom we can think, 'will this guy pull it. It's just: find fool, beat him. Rinse and repeat. That's no conflict. Think of... say, Hellsing. We began with several vampires of the week but this assholes weren't the central conflict. Millenium was. Why? Because they were a threat. Because those asshats had the chance to win and thus the true coflict could be forged. This travesty of a series doesn't.

-See argument above for this part. 'Hero of the week' doesn't serve.

-That's not a theme. Theme would be 'World Conquest'. 'Liberation, or rebuilding like fallout. Or 'the frailty of man' like in EVA. 'Playing with people and making cuckolds' is laughable as a theme, if it qualifies at all.

- It's called relatability/charisma. Aur is like a wooden plank. I, despite several misgivings I have with the series, love Overlord and I enjoyed the Hellsing and the What's-his-name goblin that evolved. These jackasses are villains, but make me care because they manage to be interesting, they show actual complexity (to varying degrees, I know). And when you review a book and give a bad review it's because you've read it all. It's to say: can this redeem itself or not? Well, seeing how you seem to enjoy this sick power fantasy so much, don't mind me.

It is "maou story", just what do you expect? A great champion is the best material for dullahan afterall. owo

I don't say a defeated champion turned slave is good. But there are other maous that manage to be... not as much as insufferable assholes.

Well, the only "honorable" foe that Aur faced was the hero gal, aside her no one followed any binding honor code yet they were owned anyways, so yes id say that either Aur is super OP thus making him quite boring on the long run since it lacks the funny parts and/or the depth of other similar OP characters like Helck for example or Saitama, or the foes are just retarded which makes it equally boring on the long run. And no the slice of dungeon parts are somewhat decent but doesnt salvage the full story.

Theres an old sayin that says "You are as great as the enemies you face", and since we are just seeing one stomp after another then sex  im afraid it will become the "retarded new girl mindbreak + (usually) virgin sex of the week" type of manga which i would  hate since the premise is interesting.

I really really hope that the plot/narrative improves because honestly right now there are h mangas+ h-games that fare much better on both aspects.

Right now if i had to compare it with an h-game would be of the Lilith company type: sex after more sex with a thin plot to keep the h-scenes coming: Amusing for a while, but gets boring after a while

Yet again, the following is a wall of text...

Before reading this manga i thought that pure evil protagonist is great, but after reading this i consider that thought.

I prefer evil protagonist with a normal sense not some fucking bastard like this one who'd fuck every cute girl without some self control. Remember men! "A Great Ruler Only See Woman as a Tool for Pleasure but What They Really Seek is Glory and be Conqueror in the World" Aur doesn't fit this category as he seek to focus only with women.

Oh damn you author for making this manga so fucked up

Alright so we got the NTR part done. Even turned the poor dude into his minion after letting him experience some NTR face to face like a champ. Wonder what else the author has in store? I do hope there's no bestiality in the future as that's where I draw the line! And tentacles don't count as that's just a staple!

Dont forget the part where his soul is trapped on his corpse. A duhallan isnt a mindless corpse like a zombie or skeleton, it has its soul trapped inside until destroyed for good, so not only hes ntrd and killed but also forced to live as an undead slave to the guy who messed his life (and no life)

I feel people are taking this way too personally.... Also there seems to be some misunderstanding about the point of this vs. the point of Mushoku Tensei. How about we make it so that the arguments don't continue? They've been going on for too long.

Oh and

I doubt anybody would bother to read this besides us... Anyway,

No Rape tags, I guess? hurr hurr.

Or NTR tag...

No Rape tags, I guess? hurr hurr.

You kinda highlighted yourself on whats wrong with Aur and this story.

His "conflicts" are downright pathetic.

And with pathetic conflict comes pathetic narrative tension.

Every conceivable adversary in this story has the power of an insect compared to Aur. They are no threat. There is no real conflict. Aur might as well be a kid with a magnifying glass burning ants alive for all the threat they pose to him. There is nothing noteworthy or engaging about that.

Also the so-called enemies "in the future"?

That;s a very insubstantial and vague reassurance that this story will get better that assumes that the author is even capable of making characters that are less shallow than the ones we have been given so far.

The adversaries drive the conflict and by extension the story. In a story about taking over the world that conflict is key. If the only adversaries available are the pitiful excuse for heroes and the powerless village elders, any random loser from our world in Aur's position can easily take over.

tl;dr

No conflict

No adversary

No narrative tension

Ok so basically like I said for the 3rd time, you don't like what's presented so far so will you continue to read this or drop this? All you've been doing is criticizing but I have yet to see WHAT exactly do you want to see. You don't think the author can come up with better stuff in the future and you don't like the present story so you're still here just arguing because?

Problem is that Aur is truly becoming a Gary Stu type of character. A character that is weak on combat but op at mind games will be op as fuck when hes never forced to confront his weakness and he can always face his foes on a mind game battle

And even if Aur is weak on direct combat, his growing harem is starting to cover already that weakness.

I like evil MC but what i dont like is that they use the bleach/naruto cliches of always winning by default easily unless facing super OP foes, and mind you hero classes on that setting are pretty op even young inexperienced ones like the hero gal yet she dances on the palm of his hand whe she faced Aur with just the succubus on his side that is heavily outmatched against the hero gal. Aur on that fight had everything under control even her decapitating him was calculated for her to lower her guard and win the fight and thats coming from someone "weak at direct combat".

There have been no "cold sweat" moment when Aur got himself on a really dangerous position up to now and seems hes playing with a coin that says "heads i win, tails you lose".

Up to the L part, Death Note was good example of how can a evil MC struggle against the good guys and win even if some parts sounded a bit off.

Basically Aur is having basically everything handled to him on a silver plate after he found his mana supply, and that god mode sue is starting to get as repetitive as seeing Rito Yuuki "accidentally" caressing a female character on a suggestive manner for the 100th time.

True, we can agree that he's WORKING to BUILD on his status as a Gary Stu, his OP-ness isn't handed to him out of nowhere like Naruto or that Bleach tard who suddenly power up after spewing tons of BS about friendship and justice then win. We can see that he laid out his work, forming contract with powerful demons, manipulating people to become stronger. We see his progression from a decrepit old man to a powerful necromancer throughout these 12 chapters. If this is not progression of character then I have no idea what to call it.

As for the hero gal, he knew he could not face her directly so he laid out underhanded schemes. It worked because he tried to learn about her strengths and weaknesses and act accordingly, the fact that the hero gal is all brawn and no brain only makes it easier for him so is he to blame because his adversary is an idiot? Once again, he did NOT suddenly get a power up out of nowhere like Bleach or Naruto.

In a way, this style of story telling is similar to Re:monster or Dungeon no Meshi in that it just basically is a slice-of-life manga that depicts the daily events in a life of an evil necromancer so Idk why you guys expect this to have a DEEP plot like Death Note. As for Death Note, it's been a while since I read it but iirc up to L, Light curb stomped every mofo who came across his path, nobody in there even came remotely to his level except L and that white haired kid who ended up owning him. Every stories have a few major enemies to oppose the MC not a lot (besides Death Note, Code Geass only has Spinzaku as the major cockblocker and maybe a few others), Aur hasn't met his yet because it's only 12 chaps and even then, I presume that maybe the blond haired megane girl is shaped up to be one. If after 50 chapters and he's still winning then yes you may be right but until then it's still up in the air. Not every stories have to present the big bad guy straight off the bat, bro.

I, personally, have nothing againts an evil character, but I have a lot to say when an author wastes time on pointless crap. And a detailed explanation on how Aur NTRed the dude's three bitches is exactly that. This whole segment could have been summed up in a maximum of two chapters. Top that off with some poor writing and here we are - potential wasted blindly; All I can hope for is that these last few chapters were a mere bump in the road, rather than the harbringer of what is to come.

Every chapter spent with Aur fucking around and no characters being developed is one less chapter spent with Aur doing what he set out to do (and what I want him to do), exact his revenge (which, at this point feels like some pointlessly shoehorned in crap).

Also, don't even start comparing this to MT. All this manga has over MT is that the protagonist is evil, statisfying a nieche demand, but it ends there. MT has better writing, character handling and attention to detail.

EDIT - Also, by all rights, Aur is the agressor. He claimed land he had no right to, raided and annexed villages and towns. I wouldn't be surprised if Aur had a hefty bounty on his head already.

Finally, you trying to justify Aur actions is outright pathetic.

You clearly love the goody protagonists so why bother sticking with this manga? There are plenty of those out there about brainless "good" MCs who do world conquests without ever getting laid. Or deep down you enjoy seeing this but still in denial? Sort of life the weirdos who claim they love vanilla hentai but still bother to read and comment on every single NTR hentai out there about how it bothers them?

Funny that it took you 12 chapters to notice that Aur is corrupting, enslaving yadda yadda. What noble motivation would you like him to have? Can't he just simply enjoy his life fucking bitches who trespass his lair and building a wonderful dungeon to live in? Even if the pacing were to pick up, I'm sure you'd still complain about how evil he is, how little to no motivation he has lol

It's time to stop bro, this one is not for you. Please go read fluffy crap like Mushoku Tensei that better suit your needs.
