I think the manga got modified because of the ratings way before the end; they tried to introduce other elements to try and change the readers' mind, but to no avail. Too bad, it was a good read but not fit for Jump.

I read this manga again after one year.....seriously this had a lot of potential. T.T I have a gut feeling it fell down the ratings at the start of the third sage of the west arc. Putting that rival in love ticked me off to for some reason. But yeah the epilogue was great. Thank God for the epilogue. thank you author-san for this manga and thank you scanlator group for translating this series . Still a great read even if it's my second time reading it

This was one of the sweetest mangas I've ever read. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a feel good manga. While I wish it were longer, it was still amazing. Wish that this was animated! It'd be so adorable. 

I liked this manga very much. I don't even understand why it would get axed. Maybe it's because I'm reading it all in one go and it wouldn't be as good in a weekly basis, or the myth that shounen can't have romantic development is actually true?

 

Well, whatever, this is a great manga and it has my seal of approval.

The ending set of chapters reads as if the mangaka had about a month's notice for "hey, we're dropping your series. Come up with an ending for it." WAT.

Cute ending/epilogue, and interestingly fitting final ritual, but eh...?? really, too fast. I don't really mean to rant, but ;u; really??

 

The art is pretty cute though, nicely detailed and has a unique style. and I really like the married couples and close family aspect of this. haha

Honestly, truly happily married couples are kindof a rarity in anime/manga world, especially with enough emphasis to count as a Thing.

 

it's a good manga, but I thing around after they introduced the brother is were thing went bad, he would have made an good villein for most of the manga, possessed by dark magic that compels him to do evil, but after he is saved form darkness, the manga seems to loos its passing, and just fizzles out. The ending ark was defiantly made of rushed ideas, with no lead up to it. I like this manga, but only up to when the brother shows up.

Meh, they wasted the potential of the manga way long before the end. A couple of chapters in, the manga seemed like it could be awesome, a mature handling of the fantasy genre. But it turned out pretty generic halfway through.

That said, I still would've liked the manga even with that, but chapter 53?ish and the related chapters really pissed me off. Such unnecessary use of NTR elements, making the girl seem like an ungrateful bimbo that couldn't even understand how her behavior and reactions could affect the person who sacrificed so much for her.

Blargh. I can't remember this manga fondly at all.

It had so much potential and they just wasted it and some things were just forgotten T_T(like the 3 sage os the west but they introduced just 2, and what was that rite that zodia was doing for? ), at least with just the little history it had it was good enough to be 10/10 and could be better.

Well written, cute and a definite read if you're looking for a feel good manga.

Superb! It make me laugh, and then cry in an instant. The story is amazing. However, the fact that they lost all the memories after being through in the end make me sad. ;(

been a while since i enjoy a manga's ending T.T

I was wondering after two weeks after my holiday, why wasn't magico updating? So I searched for it to find out the last two chapters came out while I was away and I've just had the pleasure of finishing this manga.

It's a little late but this manga was spectacular, simply amazing.

Thanks to all of the people who worked on providing us with our magico fix! I would have missed out on something great without you guys

And personally, this series' concept of how to obtain magic - through performing rituals and not by having magic from birth - is a really good one, or I could even say, the best one.

This manga dropped to low in the ratings as far as I know, so I don't think they would have bothered with a second series.

I personally hope there isn't a sequel. Otherwise it wouldn't be a "Happily Ever After" ending^^

I'd wish they never met in the final chapters, leaving us hopes for a second season with adult shion and emma...on a new journeys..(reading manga about little shion and little emma wasn't such a thrills after all...
