Okay, I originally don't want to reply to this, but...what ever

Firstly, sorry if this translation is not to your liking. I think, if you want something that's totally comfortable with you, it is better for you to make it yourself. About using -san etc, it's true that you can always translate them as Mr.- etc, but to me is kinda lacking it's original meaning, maybe that's why the translator use them instead of translating them.

Secondly, if this was going into a movie or anime, I think that Caucasian girl would still use the -san's after all, why? because it is Japanese Manga, and unless it's a dub version, I most certainly sure they will use Japanese language.

I expect the OP's intention wasn't necessarily to criticize the translation but to express a personal opinion, conversationally.

Either way, most people know it's impossible to please everyone... and I think those of us who have been reading manga long enough usually don't even notice one way or another anymore?

It's just like pokari said. I don't mean to criticize the translation, just expressing personal opinion, since, although it's Japanese manga, the set isn't japan and I read this series as japanese-comic-which-set-in-western (and I fully understand it's normal and happen in every non-japan setting manga (using -niichan, -neesan, etc).

Anyway the honorific thing is a choice you've made. Even if you agree or disagree with me, I and a lot people here already grateful enough to have you translate and introduce this series.

So, yeah, what ever.

Jess Christ? Son, you are one letter away from being a Saint. XD

and so is Aria

I think it's well traslated -- good job!

I wonder if Jess was referring to himself in that last line or if he was sort of quoting the feeling he was getting from the inspector; that is, saying

I wonder if the original Japanese has some clues in it to answer this.

At first, I couldn't open the first page in Firefox for Windows. Some of it loaded: the black background and the header & footer. The white background, directional arrows and the page itself did not. But when I went to the URL in the Location bar, added /2 & hit enter, the second page loaded as expected & the page's controls let me get to the first page & it loaded as expected, too.

FYI in case someone else has the same problem.

I wonder about that too at first but, the original Japanese says 俺と同類かもしれませんよ (ore to dourui kamoshiremasen yo), I believe he's referring to himself in this case, because in the raw, I can't see indication if he was referring to another person.

This is only my personal opinion tho.
