Just finished this. Confused as well, then found this explanation from mangafox forum by Caboov
(don't read unless you finished the manga)
The description kinda contradicts with itself...
Welcome to lack of explanations, the manga! Ignoring the ending, the series threw out a lot of bs without explaining anything. Ignoring that, the humor wasn't very good, and it was repetitive in nature. It's certainly not one of the worst manga ever, but there are a lot more things that could have been done with it to make it actually more enjoyable than not.
This was one of the best damn series I've ever read.
The last chapter does give closure and if you don't know what it is, you weren't paying enough attention.
I also didn't realize until the last chapter that all these years, I've been mispronouncing Lucuha's name. I thought the "c" was hard, but it's actually soft.
