I know people you save could be killers, thiefs, or "bad people" in general

The protaganist suspected that there might be a horrible double nature to the world he visits. He wasn't sure that what he brought back would necessarily be human, and in fact seemed quite afraid that it wouldn't be.

so, what if their dead body was found?

even so, I was waiting something like a twist, that the boy in any moment would be dead or cannot differentiate anymore between the lucid dream and him being a part of the dead people.

Holy fuck that ending spooked me.

Dang. Exposition-heavy first chapter aside, that was really good and surprisingly creepy.

he now has confirmation that the shadows moving around are human beings. And that he can save them.

And he decides, "well I didn't know them, so I'll just ignore them?" I don't mean that if you can save lifes it's inhuman not to, but you should at least consider it.

 

 

And of course if you know people you'll prioritize them over people you don't know. But he's got no choice to make between people, he already saved the sister.

I know people you save could be killers, thiefs, or "bad people" in general, but I think there are way more "normal" people that die. If you see someone trying to commit suicide, you'll probably try to save them before thinking "they may be a murderer, let's leave them alone"

That way his ability will be exposed and sooner or later he will get into lots of troubles because of it. Also I think death is something you should not toy with, even with good intentions in mind.
