Purple Library Guy, you seem to know quite a bit about this genre so I ask you, do you know why a lot of the first yuri mangas ended in tragedy? I have read a few ones but none of them ended well and another ones that I have looked also have the tragedy tag

Because, while it was ok for men to have homosexual romance "back then", it wasnt for women. So often they would part, run away together (and still end badly) or they would commit suicide because of a forced-marriage so they could be together in death.

I've seen this before; not bad, but not one of my favourites. I don't totally disagree with CB39 although I wouldn't go nearly as far.
It feels like a somewhat older story--not really vintage, but older. There are cell phones, but people are using pay phones too. From back when yuri was sort of harder to handle or something. For instance, although it's ultimately a yuri story I notice that the sex scenes with guys are much more explicit than the sex scenes with girls, which are mostly left implied. Other intimacy is skewed too--even though the relationship is empty, it shows a few different passionate kisses with the jerk guy, but kisses between girls are mostly shown at the "almost" stage with their lips maybe about to touch or just did but not actually there. So although it acts all "Oh we're hip" about yuri, underneath there's still a discomfort with the topic.
It appears that a great part of the yuri/shoujo ai stories are either cute, pure love high school stories or adult, bittersweet ones with some fucked up characters, like CB39 mentions, well at least this one has a kinda happy ending and the worst thing that happened
Spoiler
unlike another manga that got uploaded recently with a similar setting but in the end the MC ends alone after being toyed by her former boyfriend and her new lover,a androgynous looking girl who by the way was raped by the boyfriend I just mentioned, this manga is quite light-hearted compared to that story
Readable art and pacing, but the characters are just casually disgusting people. This is one of those "I'll make everyone fucked up to make it seem more REAL" stories. And it isn't done well.
