Propably some cheap production, he was forced to take her, while already guessing that a model wouldn't be that good at acting and didn't care for anything.
Many movies, especially those TV-movies seem like that.

Ch. 0 is fun. But . . . makes me realize, you know, writers can be good but still there are characters that kind of bring them to the next level. The moment Koizumi Risa shows up, the whole thing picks up energy. Her and Otani just have an extra something.

Uhh yeah. So the flashback in Love Com TWO is definitely from Love Com D.
This chapter seems separate because it pretty much is a separate story.
In the Love Com D, it's from the perspective of Manabu. In Love Com TWO, it's from Takuto's perspective. There are two other stories (one about Mimi and one about Manager Matsuba) plus another unrelated short oneshot~ So there we goooo. I hope that helps you curious fans out there~
HaruHime scanlated Takuto's chapter first because Hime went through all the trouble of buying the magazine, to get the supplement that has that oneshot in it. The tank came out just recently, soooo I bought it. And here we are~

I think the flashbacks come from Love*Com D, a spin-off oneshot from 2009 that seems to focus on Takato and Manabe which was never scanlated, so that's probably the reason for unexplained flashbacks. Hope that helps.
First chapter felt a little rushed at the end, but other than that it was decent, if not a little confusing since we didn't have much background info (the events of the aforementioned unscanlated oneshot). Also, for a 2D drawing -- and I almost never say this, if not never, but Takato is one handsome fella, especially when he's pulling his usual grumpy face; not androgynous like some guys in other shoujo manga. I also like how practical he is about everything.
