This is such a special series! I'm used to very fluffy, lovey-dovey titles from Yamamoto Kotetsuko and there was an interesting maturity and sobriety to this series. Very unique and sweet. It felt like a pure, but adult romance.

As soon as I saw the title in the list, I knew it would be a Yamamoto Kotetsuko manga.
(To be nitpicky, it doesn't seem like this is actually related to Fukurou-kun? Shiratori played for the Bay Stars, but this Kamijyou guy wasn't in Fukurou-kun, and the publisher is different, so it's pretty unlikely that there's any actual crossover. At any rate, it would be a spin-off, not an "adapted from".)
