Sorry if it was confusing, but her full name is Yuuki (last name) Yuumi (first name). When Fushimatsu is talking to her, he refers to her by her last name (Yuuki-san), but when hes monologuing or thinking about her he refers to her by her first name (Yuumi-chan).
Is her name Yuuki or Yuumi? God damnit.

I wouldn't say it wouldn't be as bad. It's quite possible that he would have ended up in a different situation that is as bad as this one, or possibly worst. There are no limits to how bad things can get, after all.
But it wouldn't have been as bad if he didn't get hit with the arrow. The arrow which shouldn't have been disposed in the method she chose to use. A large part of his life is due to her carelessness.
Looks like baka-updates has the wrong information. From Wikipedia and Amazon, it can be seen that the series has apparently ended at volume 5.
The new girl is a lot more interesting.
