This story irked me.

Both the girl and guy are just what makes terrible relationships.

The guy is too persistent. After Shino repeatedly rejects him, he still doesn't give up. I mean, obviously there had to be a greater issue than her not liking you. Why couldn't he accept a rejection and not force his ways on her?

Shino, is a lying masochist. I assume she had a bad breakup, and didn't want to tell anybody this personal information to others. I get it.

But the mangaka and her are just lying. Parts like, "I never meant to hide he was my ex-bf from you" and "I was gonna do all those intimate things with you"

Bullshit, obviously right from the start you had no intention of ever telling him honestly your feelings of the past that kept you from moving forward. Does the mangaka realize how those words are obviously lies to the readers?

She had no intention of moving forward with Takeomi, nor stay with him for long till marriage - which she deems the only time she can be touched.

Shino said "I just want to be like this with takeomi for just a little longer" yeah, having a bf you didn't need to touch, but would give you attention and make you happy. And that sounded like she didn't plan on being with him for long after.

She keeps running away from the issue. How will she ever move forward if she keeps drowning in her sorrow of a bad love?

I understand it takes A LOT of time to get over a breakup. So even if she faced her problems head on, she can't be ok with it right away.

So we established she was never going to tell takeomi about her past if she had a choice.

So when her ex-bf shows up and spilled how they slept together, she was still dishonest to Takeomi. I partially understand. You don't want him to think too badly of you.

So she lied and said she wasnot hiding he was her ex and blah blah.

But the lying issue was never properly addressed again - after they truly got together. If I was Takeomi, I'll tell her straight up that she was lying and wanted to talk the issue out, heart-to-heart.

Also, they breakup which I think they both deserve.

I suppose time passes and I assume Shino misses him. But somehow she's ok at the end. It just feels her fear of being touched was too easily resolved.

It would make more sense if she touched his face and held his hand, rather than kissing him right away.

And that she's slowly getting over her issues.

Overall really terrible characters from start to end.

Takeomi, would sound like a good character, but actually has little focus so he just feels like the nice guy. But that's it.

I didn't like how the ex showed up a second time. It's just conveniently forces the leads to quickly interact so they can get together again.

That's not properly addressing the issue. Shino never properly tried to initiate with Takeomi - to look for him on her own.

Even if she's scared that he hates her or vice versa, after time passes, talk it out even if you can only be friends or just acquaintances. So that there'll be no hard feelings or regret when you look back in the past.

But, we're all cowards who run away and don't apologize.

I really would not recommend this oneshot, but if you want some masochist stories that you vehemently want to hate, go for it.

After reading another story on bato with a bad rating, there has to be meaning to the ratings now.
