| Description: | In the distant future, Earth has been devastated and its inhabitants seek a new home in the heavens. However, constant warfare forces humans to return to Earth, which has turned into an uninhabitable planet except for a certain area called the Divine States. The Divine States are too small to accommodate all the humans, so they duplicated the area and created the Harmonic Divine States. In order to retrace their steps and rediscover their journey to the heavens, the returned humans began to reproduce history from the year 10,000 BC, using a mysterious history book called Testament. History reproduction proceeds smoothly until A.D. 1413, when a war broke out in the Divine States. This causes the Harmonic Divine States to crash onto the original world. The humans living in the Harmonic Divine States lose their land and invade the original world. The people of the Divine States surrender and they are divided by the invaders from the Harmonic Divine States. They try to resume the reproduction of history from A.D.1457, but the update of history terminates in A.D.1648. A rumor of apocalypse begins to spread around the world. Horizon was so confusing it made me read the LN and it's even more interesting.

And 'volumes' are a bit confusing. It's more like 'arcs', although the link above clearly shows that people has been referring to it as volumes.
1st arc has 2 volumes, 2nd arc has 2 volumes, and 3rd arc has 3 volumes, totaling ~5800 pages. So this is 7 volumes out of the 15 released so far.
To you guys who are confused, I recommend checking out the anime. It's a whole mess but I enjoyed the two seasons - I can't understand it at the end and you need to look up some explanation online from those who grab stuff from the LNs to explain, but it's still enjoyable even without knowing what's going on - a bunch of PLOT flying around and flashy lights
The two seasons are 1st arc and 2nd arc respectively, so that should cover the first ~3400 pages or so. I read the translated LN a bit and it's still confusing there even. It does seem to jump around and there's a TON of explanation still to be done. Definitely nothing like Mahouka that explains every little thing and psions.
No, the first 2 or 3 (can't remember which number it is) volumes of Horizon are considered it's "Prologue".

Yes it's prequel to "Horizon series" , but it not "the prologue".
This is another awesome series from Kawakami Minoru and has many interesting things for fans of Horizon and highly recommend to read.
The prologue to this LN is 6000 pages, I repeat, 6000 PAGES, not words, PAGES. So yes, it's very confusing lol. I'd recommend reading it a few times til it makes sense.
I read tons of mangas just by clicking Surprise button, but out of all the manga, this is one of the most confusing manga I ever read...Just like someone mentioned

so...I just finished reading the first chapter as a person who just discovered this series exists and is starting with this manga. And, to say the least, I am so confused I think I'm going to go lie down for a bit before ever attempting to decrypt what the hell I just read.
Seriously. No. Clue. What. I. Just.Read. One random event after another, one random character after another, nothing explained, nothing gained....over....heating...
TL;DR: I RED FIRS CHAPER, I IZ CONFUS.

Thanks for the new chapter HimaHimaSeijin Scans with the slow pace the release are we might end up watching the 3rd season of the anime before season one is done in manga... :S

I couldn't find any nice bits from the manga to snip out of the credits in chapter 09, so instead, have Fukushima Masanori / SPEER-01 in delicious black stockings.
