If you're asking why there's no new chapters of this, Waterflame Scanlations needs a translator for it.

If that's just sorta "why" in general, the answer is "because the world is cruel and unfair"

Well technically this and Nogi are one in the same.. they share some characters and this is considered a "Alternate Setting" but an anime would be nice (the manga has 5 or so volumes from what I'm aware of)

kinda makes me wonder if these characters cameoed in NogiHaruHimi. Of course since that project stopped, we probably won't be finding out anytime soon.

Apparently, there are two different versions of volume 1. One released in 2005 and another released in 2012.

This is because "Kyouhaku Dog's" started its run in 2005, but then in 2006 the magazine it was serialized in died and series went on hiatus. Serialization restarted under "Kyouhaku DOG's -Another Secret-" title in another magazine in 2010. New version of the first volume was printed in 2012. Info from:

Funny enough.. I've been reading the 2007 English release(Bought it for 1 cent) and comparing it to the Japanese raws I bought.. I believe they must of done a re release or something because there is a lot of changes to panels or even new pages. Oh and the flash backs are literally changed completely. Oh also more chapters in volume 1.

Honestly, as much as I like it, the flow in the first few chapters is kind of a mess.
