Description: | The moment you fall in love, should that be considered as real love? I mean, all it is, really, is self satisfaction, isn't it? You aren't thinking about the other person's happiness, but rather, all you're thinking about is, "As long as I feel good, it's fine." To purge that sort of love, Thales plans to interfere between couples as much as possible, and then sever their ties. |

Well, this is one heck of a sad backstory....oh man X'DDD Anyways, big thanks to Träumerei Scans & Kurai Wonderland Scanlation for scanlating and translating this manga :DD You guys are awesome
I had never seen Raku so fucking COOOOOOOOOL.
*Reads One-shot* Is this the Shoujo version of D.Gray-man or what?
Did... did the Gynous core just get destroyed by itself or something?
Don't tell me because it lose to Kousaka's real affection to Arata?
I actually believe the opposite of your reading is true. The manga, in my view, is not critical of "sudden and powerful infatuation." Rather, it suggests that the thing we call "love" in general is by nature consumptive and entails harm to the people involved. It's interesting because in the first chapters the manga doesn't sufficiently establish the stakes of harm as a result of the creation of the so-called "complete being."
In a sense, the love-killing grim reaper guy is really only interesting in protecting the constituency of the "subject" before they experience "love," because as well all know love deeply changes a person. Indeed, it can scar as well. I think, as the manga progresses, it will probably subvert the viewpoint of the love-killing apparatus to suggest that love is worth the risk.
I love goth lolis, but wow. 70 pages for chapter 1? Theres no way in hell this last longer than a few volumes at most.
The oneshot and first chapter are promising, but I think we all know that doesn't mean much. Still, I'm staying cautiously optimistic!
I actually really like that this manga is being very blunt about saying that a sudden and powerful infatuation isn't something that you should embrace without any thought.
