Just when you think it's going to turn out poorly and she's leaning too much towards Asao and their relationship is ruined, the author just flips that whole concept on its head, and everything's right again.

Asao still needs to disappear for good.

Getting drunk once for reasons is one thing, getting drunk repeatedly starts looking like a lifestyle.  On a spectrum with teetotaling on one end and homeless-due-to-alcoholism on the other, overindulging once is still quite close to the teetotaling end and might even have its uses.  When you start to make a habit of things that's more of a worry.  Is this actually supposed to be a mysterious, contradictory notion?

And yeah, I said she needed someone to take advantage of her because her thought balloons kept being basically "God I wish someone would take advantage of me!"--it wasn't exactly a subtle, questionable reading into the material.

Honestly, she looks cuter in glasses than in contacts.  And contacts are ichy and can hurt the eyes.

But I really don't like Mr. Conflict.  I know that if they didn't introduce him, the story would be going a bit of nowhere fast because of how considerate Yuuto is, but Mr. Conflict is a very cheap literary device used a million times in shoujo and josei.  I'll keep following this for a bit, but a solid start might be giving way to floundering and diving into troperiffic territory.

Well, I like it.  And she's not ugly.  And there's nothing wrong with girls who are older.  And I don't know if I've ever heard of a josei harem, so I don't think we're going to get a big parade of candidates; maybe a rival at some point, but that's about it.  Not sure I get how you can be saying "another" like it's some kind of huge trend.And general theories of how people should treat one another aside for a moment, she in specific really needed someone to take advantage of her while she was drunk.  'Cause, like, she really wanted to be taken advantage of, and she had far too strong social barriers and control to ever let anyone do it while she was sober.

also we only have his word that it happened as far as we know he could be lying because she needs someone to take advantage of her so he's says what she needs to start moving... Granted I do think that they did actually do it; but it's possible they didn't.

Also i think i read one josei harem but it was terrible so i doubt it goes that way ever

I think you've been reading too much shoujo manga for expecting those stuff and complaining about not having a knight in shining armor. Also, what makes you think he's scum and a bastard? You don't know his real backstory yet and why he broke up w/ the girl. It could've been that they weren't compatible and it was a mutual decision. That itself ain't a douchebag thing. It's better than dragging on a tiresome relationship where both of the parties just lose in touch.
