Obviously because the chapters are published in the Monthly GFantasy in Japan, so there's only one chapter released per month...

You weren't that far off with the hypothesis...at least not about the singing part. Chapter 112 is a slap-stick of Uta no Prince-sama. So probably most guy-readers won't get the joke but the female clientele....well I nearly cried, it was so hilarious. It's a bit like having the Dragon Ball Z characters perform a Sailor Moon "dance"... Not sure, if Yana is trying to pay her respects or b*tch-slapping the the Uta-Pri makers to start a fight lol. So if we soon see a season of Uta-Pri with demon-themes....brace yourselves! @_@
Before you read ch. 112, search for "Uta no Prince-sama season 1 episode 13 and go to 20:35 mins and watch the "song". Then read the chapters. Yana even went as far as copying some clothing accessories and gestures, she just changed a few bits to not be 100% the same. But if you've seen both, you cannot unsee it... Considering Yana is a Yaoi-Artist to start with... Are we in for some MxM action "disguised" as a gothic-boyband-fantasy this arc?!

107 is pretty bad though, it's a worse translation than mangapandas, even if the scan itself looks fine
