Trust me, that was not yaoi. It's definitely shoujo, since it's aimed at a younger female audience (set in a high school, main characters are hot boys, etc.), but I'd say it could qualify as shounen-ai, since two boys' mutual love for each other is shown (although I'd say it's simply platonic love; others might read into it more).

The one-shot had a very dark undertone, it's not really my taste completely but it was a good read. I'm not crazy about it.
