Actually I am really sad. Why is she [snip]

Please no spoilers!

Actually I am really sad. Why is she there with this idiot vamp -.- When is Leon getting her back >.<

chapter 25 felt like it got cut short, and now im sad.

Speculation

Your speculation seems to be on point, but then how does the Esther's brother play into it?

On a side note, looks like the thumbnail changed- can't say how happy I am that we're getting at least 9 volumes of this manga.

And even if he did not find her, he may decide to not have children at all or commit suicide which would cause end of the line. Also, she was presented before the queen, so it expected that the rumours started circulating.

Good point.  This guy decided to suddenly disappear someone who's just been presented to the queen.  What?!  If he wanted to preserve propriety and the family's reputation, wouldn't before she made a splashy entry into high society have been better timing to make her mysteriously vanish?

Not the point.  I knew she'd be persuadable--she's selfless to a fault, it's exactly the kind of pitch that plays to her major personality traits.

The point is, what do you, and more relevant, what should stupid old fart, expect Leon to do when she disappears?  He should instantly realize that somebody flim-flammed her, his job is investigation, he's got plenty of resources to find her, and he will have no intentions of letting her vanish from his life.  The only result that can possibly be expected from this is, he hunts the girl down, gets the truth from her, after which only the vanilla of shoujo can save that old wretch from being banished from the family.  Why would he expect a good (from his POV) result from this?

Little did you know the mental capacity of our heroine really is that shallow. :/

Stupid old fart.  Really, he thinks his self-important meddling is going to stand for five seconds?  It'll just lose him what influence he has.

Esther...really?

Chapter 20 :

Spoiler

For some reason I suddenly had the urge to root for Paul for a bit. Maybe because he's the underdog and it's a nice change of pace to have a guy win without having to be the whole "prince" package.

I don't know.... It's lost all the steam it had. Not mention, the main girl is getting annoying and stereotypical. I may read the kast couple chapters once it ends, but for now, I am out.

Yeah, I am getting really fed up with her. I have no clue why they have to stretch this out so much (other then milking the series) by them not talking - gosh dammit.

I wish the "Blue Rose" would be our main protagonist. She is fun and looks not very damsel like. so far the only thing that keeps our MC afloat is her ability to see and their backstory. Oh, and being just "nice"

Psych!

Chapter 18 - that ending:

Is this really necessary? I guess she ends up at being a tool to bring those two lovestruck idiots together?

Homewrecker! Go Away!

*throws everything at hand at the newcomer*

what? chapter 18 why?

Of course. The fiancee.

Happy holidays everyone!

The Phoenix serenades us with a lovely release for Christmas!  Hurrah and thanks and Christmas wishes to live long and prosper!

Certain elements of the story also remind me of Earl and Fairy. Peasant girl and "playboy" noble, and the girl is a red-head and can see things others can't. Which means I'm really enjoying this story!

Yes... Me too! I was describing it as Vampire Hunters crossed with My Fair Lady, seasoned with Earl and Fairy .

I love how in his fantasy he includes Paul gawking at them like some sort of subconscious pay back. He's so jelly but that's adorbs..

Squee!

Get your insulin ready, ladies and gentlemen, this chapter brings the sweet and no mistake!

lol he never even said "fake" or "pretend" marriage, she's the one who added those words in... he was talkin for real from the start XD

at this rate they will have an actual wedding ceremony and legal marriage papers and she'll still say it's fake

this manga reminds me of the "part time bride" in Ookami-heika no Hanayome
