This wasn't bad compared to a lot other shoujo.

It feels like the mangaka knows what readers want nowadays - less stupid characters who are more honest and direct. She also knows we want some squee moments.

I feel her characters for the most part is what I describe - sound, reasonable, doesn't do things out of character, aren't assholes.

She tries to add in a few shoujo moments/tropes yet...

I found the manga overall, especially the romance, to be very boring.

Don't get me wrong, I like that the male MC isnt a jerk, who is direct and wants misunderstandings resolved as quickly as possible. He's reliable and dependable.

The female MC do contain traits of the classic female, overly nice and thinks about others too much. But she hasn't cried till the last chapter or so. She has emotions, but she isn't overly emotional, till the last two chapters...where everythingdidn't make sense.

She thought things through, understood more about herself and though avoided certain things, if we were in her position, we'd probably do the exact same thing.

Remember, as readers we see all the POVs, but actual characters in the story only see from their own pov, so they can't u derstand the entire situation like we can at times.

The issues with this manga, is that the friendship and romance gets established too quickly. I know a lot of manga are like this, but unlike most other manga, this manga actually has sound characters and you can feel the immense potential it had. Also you can feel the mangaka putting in a lot of effort in the thoughts and dialogue of characters.

The whole "promise to not date each other" is a little odd, though I can understand b/c what if they all fall in love and fight for the guy? Or, it'd be super awkward to be living with a couple. So to a certain degree that premise was ok.

But feelings do develop and you can't avoid it, so if they do start to date, why are they so upset like it's the end of the world?

Also, the friendship feels too forced. I don't really see that they are so close, but...whatever.

The romance also feels too fast. I don't see how the girl likes the guy so fast, there's just no spark or interaction that would make her like him so fast.

Moreso, the guy liking the girl when he had absolutely no interest in girls. There wasn't even any interaction that would make him see her differently.

If the mangaka can work on these two issues, I feel the manga could have been a lot better.

It was also boring, though 18 chapters they went by pretty fast.

The last two chapters seem to not make sense though. It seemed as though one of the girls blushed and liked the guy as well, but it was never addressed again.

The last two chapters got the girl being a bit overdramatic. The manga seems to be a bit overdramatic and serious at times, but with decent characters, I'm not sure what exactly is off with this manga. Why does it feel so boring at times when it's better than some mangas out there?

Mixed feelings.

It started off really cute and I was enjoying it quite a bit, but then everything went downhill from there and it got pretty annoying. _-_

But still, DAT ART.

Man, that art was a huge plus. Aside from the way the lips were drawn, it was just my style. <3
