Definitely one of my favourite shoujos. I did wonder why everyone seemed to like this so much, because I really couldn't get into Warau Kanoko-sama. Maybe the text-heaviness then was the turn-off. I'll give it a try again~ (All the scanlators who worked on this: WHOAAAA you guys did great work... If I had to clean & typeset all dat shit I'd bleed my eyes out. Thanks so much!)

Love Kanoko so much! Certainly refreshing to see her kind in shoujo. And her friendship with Momo <3 I laughed so much while reading; it's seriously funny! Also I started this side-eyeing Haru 'cause he's cute but his sticking to Kanoko was annoying, but he got such good development in the end, I can't help liking the dork. I'll say, though,

I'd have really liked more time and focus on The Relationship but I liked the ending, because it tied up things nicely. All in all, this is great: 8/10, & I recommend this 100x~

p.s. BUT I WOULD LIKE MORE YUMEMI. SHE IS SO CUTE, SHE CAN HAVE ALL OF MY HEART

I love this series.

Nothing more needs to be said.

Aww, that was nice. I'll miss it, but I think that was a good ending.

Spoiler

I've seen so many new anime adaptions from shoujo mangas which have come this spring and will come this summer. Do you guys think there's a chance for kdad to get an anime in near future? It's really frustrating if this unique and amazing manga doesn't get one while those typical shoujo mangas are getting anime adaptions or/and drama cds :( :( Not that I hate them but I just think it's unfair for kdad. :/

Is.. is it really over? There's so many unanswered questions though! Plus, it would be fun to see the Kanoko at university or Tsubaki meeting her family.

I don't know about you guys....but I rarely read a manga which ending left me feeling so happy and content :3

That last page killed me with squee! Thanks for everything everyone who was involved!

I'm not sure how to interpret the ending ending....   On one hand, there's a hint of a longer story, especially from the last page.  On the other hand, the fact that there's a time skip, really really hints that it's the real end of the series.
I think it's the end end. At least until the author decides she wants to pick it back up in the future. And given the obvious hint at the end, there has got to be a lot of untold story we would love to see.

A favourite. I will miss this manga.. then again maybe not. I'll just re-read it!!

As long as How I met your mother?

I'm not sure how to interpret the ending ending....

On one hand, there's a hint of a longer story, especially from the last page.  On the other hand, the fact that there's a time skip, really really hints that it's the real end of the series.

But, a question remains unanswered:  what the heck does Kanoko's dad do?  ^_^ (On a side note: we got a hint of Kanoko's offiicial intro as Tsubaki's girlfriend, but I'm also now curious about Tsuabki's intro as the boyfriend to papa dearest ^_^)

Thank you scanlators for the hard work!

Right to the end, it was very her.

. . . it's really over?

So the manga really ended. I was surprised that this last chapter was really wrapped up in a nice way even though there are some things that could be more dwelt on.

Are there maybe chances that we get special or extra chapters? How perfect would that be for us readers? And it would be amazing if there could be an extra chapter especially about Kanoko's family. I mean we never got to know Kanoko's father, he was someone that I was really interested in since our protagonist should have inherited some traits from him and like how many times she had transferred middle schools I was curious what kind of job her father has. :>

And props to the author for letting Kanoko be the Kanoko that we know and love! I mean it's common that the personality of shoujo heroines changes after getting a boyfriend. That's why it's refreshing to see that this isn't the case here and instead of a sudden change we get to see her growth into a "better"(?) person (sorry, can't come up with a better word ^^)

I'm still a little bit sad that kdad is over now but if that's how it should be then I guess it's ok.

I'm so glad that I got to know this manga, the prequel of course and Kanoko, Tsubaki and all the other characters. Kanoko is my no. 1 in the list of the best female leads in the shoujo genre. She was the reason why I definitely wanted to read the series and it was indeed the best choice that I made! This heroine and the series are definitely a real treasure and I could read this and the prequel over and over again, I'd never get tired! They'll definitely be missed.

That being said I sincerely have to thank Tsujita-sensei for creating this absolutely fantastic series, without her, I don't know how long we have to wait for having this one-of-a kind heroine because I'm getting tired of these typical female leads and tropes that we see in numerous shoujo mangas.

And a big big thanks to the team wishfulscans for working on this manga! You guys are absolutely amazing, we appreciate every part of the work that you all have done!

*SILENT SQUEALING*; Ok, I need to calm down. Tsubaki's older sister has no need to worry about the Tsubaki blood.

But, anyway.. IT'S THE END!! NOOO!! I don't know how to feel. Kinda rushed? But still fulfilling.. T^T

I'm so happy the quality in this series remained the same all the way through. I'm sad it ended, but at least it ended well! I want another sequel about them tearing it up in the political world as adults.

The ending was good. I wanted to see a little more of their dating interactions, but it was still satisfying.

Sadly, that last page probably killed any hope I had for a sequel. :(

Oh, and love Kanoko's longer hair look. \o/

i really can't believe it's over. i'm shocked it's the end.

tsujita-sensei, thank you.

all the translators, proofreaders, editors, cleaners, raw providers, donators, thank you for giving your valuable time and working so hard to make this manga and its prequel available to us.

it's a gem of a shoujo.

i can't believe it's over. i reckon this is one of those life goes on moments...

fare thee well Kanoko and friends

I've been reading this since middle school and I'm already 23... I can't believe it's over.

I-It's over.

I can't believe it, it's been amazing. Now excuse me while I go cry in a corner ;-;

This has been a great ride.

Thank you Koidano and Wishful for translating this (and also JShoujo and Dhiary for translating Warau). This is definitely a series I'm happy to have read.

It's so common to see series that get axed or the author loses interest, and it just ends like crap. But then occasionally we get a series like this with a proper ending, and a hint of an epilogue, with all the strings tied up neatly and conclusively.

Because the manga is perfect like that. You can't add anymore to their story.

But...But... I want more yumemi....

Thank you Wishful Scans. It's been a wild ride. Hopefuly we get to see some more stories with them.

But Kanoko with longer hair looks very pretty.

Man, I will miss this manga. The ending is just perfect. The pace might have been too fast but I really liked that author ended this manga after Naedoko's ends up with Tsubaki instead of dragging it endlessly.

Thank-you Wishful Scans for scanlating this series.

This was an outstanding manga.

I will really miss this one T.T
