Description: | Saho, in her opinion's, lived a pretty happy life up until now with her mangaka father and a grandmother she lovingly calls "Granny." Sure, they don't have the luxuries of more wealthy families, and she hates how her father has NO care for his fashion sense when he lounges around in sweats all day, but when it comes right down to it, she couldn't love her home more. However, their peaceful life's disrupted one day when they receive a phone call saying that Saho's mother, who had left her father years ago taking Saho's older brother with her, had passed away. This leads to Mugi, a brother she hadn't seen in ten years, coming to live with them. She has a hard time adjusting to life with the brother she'd only known from faded family photographs--and his selfish and egocentric nature's not helping matters! Will they ever learn to get along? -Also includes "P.S. I LOVE HER" which is a sequel to her 5-volume series "I LOVE HER" (http://www.batoto.net/comic/_/i-love-her-r2139) |

Why was this cancelled?
But he is such a @#$!ing a***ole. Like all the &*%ing time. Nothing comes out of the brat's mouth that isn't rude, snide, obnoxious, arrogant, gratuitously nasty, often to people who have nothing to do with any of his problems. He's abusive.
So yeah, this guy goes well beyond the typical obnoxious male lead, and shows fewer redeeming features. It's going to take a pretty serious turnaround to salvage this guy and I have doubts the mangaka will be able to make me buy it.
It's a pity because otherwise the manga's pretty well written. Actually, even the guy would be well written if you didn't know that it's a setup where you're supposed to end up feeling sympathetic to him anyway. I'm sorry, lots of people have bad mothers and feel abandoned and do not become complete budgie-humping douchebags because of it.
