Chapter 58 is out, it's just not on batoto.

Given the popularity of this anime I'm surprised to see the scanlations being many chapters behind at this moment.

lol, i jist think about Kobayashi-san being a super magic user, thats c57 killed my dream (or not?)

Nooo! I want to know! NOW!

He's Shouta's Father. And a Magician from another world. with the latest chapter it's clear it's from the same world as Tooru.

We all know somehow theres a magical truck involved

Did I miss osmetihng in regards to the current programming boss?

Edit: He's also the Company Boss not just of the programming side.

"So kyut"

Imma steal this.

let's not fool ourselves. She was wanting to mate and most importantly given the reactions Calling it rape at this time is misleading and/or just wrong.

She didn't get a chance to continue after she pushed Saikawa down and Saikawa said she wasn't ready yet, though she was mentally excited. And she hasn't pushed the issue since. For all we know she wants it to be consensual. It was after Saikawa said that she wants to get closer and that she wants to "marry" Kanna.

Kanna being a immature dragon (even if she's much older she's still a child dragon) could easily take that as an invitation.

...

pretty much like that ...

cruel word don't match situation (also lately cruel words actually being shown in manga and anime MORE THAN PERVERT WORDS)

any swearing also don't match situation either ...

so yeah ... it's a pervert / porn / sex word she used ...

also considered female dragon, Tooru, and Lucoa, if the person they put affection says "marry" ...

Ex : Kobayashi said that all dialogue to Tooru, Tooru might pounce Kobayashi (mainly if she have "D") ...

Iruru probably do the same like Tooru, or rather, she already tried to pounce Kobayashi multiple times ...

same case with Lucoa and Shouta, if Shouta says all that dialobue, Lucoa pounce Shouta on the spot ...

Kanna hear that dialogue about love, marriage, thus even if they same gender, she almost pounce that yuri loli ...

probably the meaning marriage / love / affection = pouncing / sex to them ...

This censorship actually leaves her intent consealed on purpose. It's like "Schrödinger's rape". It may be sexual, but may be not - until you lift the censorship you'll never know.

manga and anime censor Kanna's word ...

"I want to **** her" ...

which most likely have sexual meaning in that censor ...

..."despise" isn't a noun guys...

It does explain why the blood sacrifice of beancounters makes my code work better.

...

cruelly boil tea leaves, or grind to death roasted coffee bean also work too ... =3= ...

So HTML was made by magicians...

Makes sense. I always felt that writing HTML (and Javascript) was like practicing voodoo magic.

... Pretty sure that the point of their relationship is that it's a parody of said hentai plotline.  In which a child summons a succubus and then what logically follows does, but instead it doesn't follow it.  Cool even decided to name the kid "Shouta," I mean can you be any more on-the-nose than that?  And the first thing Shouta does is accuse her of being a succubus.

And again, I don't recall Lucoa ever "molesting" Shouta.  Intentionally, at least, and even assuming that, calling her hugging him thus putting him closer to her breasts "molesting" is really stretching it.  I don't recall her doing anything worse.

Also, Lucoa is constantly dressing up in skimpy outfits and then wondering why she keeps getting told to put more clothes on.  She's clueless.  She doesn't understand indecency or... the "impact" her body has.  It's played for laughs all the time.  That enough should clue you in that maybe she's just an idiot that doesn't understand what effect being so close to Shouta is having, and she just looks after him and cares for him as a sibling figure.  In fact that's true across all the dragons. They to varying extents don't understand human society and (most) are adjusting to it.  Lucoa just doesn't seem to care.

You guys can all quote and laugh at me when it turns out contrary to what my interpretation is, but as of now I don't see anything resembling romantic interest, nor sexual interest from the "aggravator."

The former.  See the above.

As for the latter...  I like to not think about that.  Kanna's actual age isn't ever specified either though, is it? Her mental age at the very least is childish enough that I can not be creeped out by it too much, but still.

...

remember, the moral code of dragon different than human ...

Lucoa think what she has done is NORMAL !

(also it seems at middle age setting in their dragon world, underage married or mating is normal) ...

about loli dragon / Kanna, Kobayashi already told she is quite old, but the youngest from all the dragon which has comes ... and yes, she know what she has done, based conversation with that yuri big forehead, Kanna really tried to rape her to show her affection (probably not exactly rape since that loli probably will accept anything Kanna will to to her) ...

html, css and js are pretty straight forward, if you want magic go to haskell or something similar

It's the birth of the strongest mage: Kobayashi
Kobayashi looked cute as a maid.

I don't specifically recall any instance in which Lucoa seriously comes on to Shouta.  It's mostly teasing, obliviousness, or otherwise makes sense in context (she offers "her body" because that's the only thing left she has to offer in exchange for not living out on the streets).

As for Shouta, he's still a child, and neither do I recall him ever explicitly having impure thoughts about Lucoa. Moreover, he's not at the age to be getting in actual relationships, so pairing them romantically while he's a child is really weird, to put it as lightly as I can phrase it.  Liking their interactions as a pseudo-sibling relationship is another thing though, and what was pretty obviously intended.

I don't think you're very familiar with Cool's work if you think Lucoa and Shouta were "obviously intended" to be looked at like siblings and nothing more. The guy can write very heartfelt character-driven stories when he wants to, and it's one of the big appeals of Maid Dragon, but he has very obvious fetishes he puts into most of his work outside of Ojojojojo. Maid Dragon is relatively tame for Cool, and it's likely that he wants the focus to be on more meaningful relationships here like Kobayashi and Tooru, but chapters where he's putting in his fetishes are still rather blatant. Iruru is similar.

It's one of the things you just learn to live with when you read Cool stories. Honestly, I love Lucoa as a character especially when she acts as the big sister to the other dragons, and I wish she WAS just a role model for Shouta, but it's pretty blatant that Cool uses her to fuel his straight-shota fetish.

That's actually a variation of Clarke's Third Law.

Or a corollary of one of its corollaries: "Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology."
Clarke's Third Law has generated many, many variations. :P

And for anyone interested, I absolutely love how "magic" works in Scrapped Princess - especially how Raquel uses it.

I mean I can't think of any 9 year old that wants to fuck other 9 year olds and this is COOL we are talking about so it is pretty plain to see what he is into.  But nonetheless grow to love his characters. Now that I think about it...his most vanilla work is Ojojojojojojojojojojojojojojojojojo and is the one I like the most.

To quote Girl Genius: "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science."
