| Description: | Knights is a shounen manga tale about squire Mistletien, called 'Mist' for short. Taking place in a medieval world in which the church and her representatives are burning people en masse on suspicion of witchcraft, Mist and his organization are taking a stand against the church and the 'Saints' who are perpetuating the witch hunts. Second read here. It's been a while.
Such a great series. It's sad it had to end up rushed like that.
But the end wrapped things nicely enough.

Convoluted feelings belonging to an emotionally immature girl, suddenly morphed into a hero of unshakable faith and courage by the end of the series, didn't allow me to actually feel the romance between her and the main guy. The setting itself was good, the mc had a strong backstory, but again fell in love with the silly girl, in an overused fashion. I said a lot about the romance between them and nothing else because it seems to be the main point of the story, not the witch hunt, not the fights, and it didn't seem compelling enough to me.
Still, good series. Worth a read if you have the time.
