I've forgotten about this manga...it's been years but even re-reading it now I find it as lovely as ever. It's so incredibly sweet and cute. I adore all the characters, but the main couple really do capture your heart. Overall it's a pretty light read but completely enjoyable! Kind of wish there was a continuation-not that it needs it but I'm just a selfish fan ^^
Now I'm wishing that I could read more of the story between Taisei and Suzuko's sister.
As a deaf person, I'll avow as well for this manga's realism. Its handling of deafness is some of the best I've ever seen in media.

This is an incredibly good and also realistic manga.  I make the "realistic" judgement call because my uncle was born without ears (outer appendages or inner mechanisms).  From what he told me, he "heard" entirely by bone vibration in the skull.  He also had perfect pitch, played organ and harpsichord, tuned and rebuilt pipe organs, and knew more about music in general and baroque music in particular than anyone I've ever known.  Many of the things written in this manga are quite familiar to me, as I watched him interacting with people for most of my life.  Life was often not very pleasant for him, as many people tend to treat someone who is totally deaf as though he is mentally deficient as well.  This is a very well written manga, and Fujitsuka Sensei did her homework very, very well.

Gah, so very cute! I like how the characters grow noticeably both physically and emotionally. Funnily enough, while sometimes Masami is especially handsome, usually he looks like a background type of character in this kind of manga (shoujo). It's nice to see someone like that as the lead.

Deafness is not a topic seen often in shoujo, but I think it's done sweetly and with consideration here instead of melodrama everywhere like I was afraid of. No love switcheroos, no jealousy of random people, not even the scenario of the little brother "I was in love with you, too!" which I was kind of expecting for 3/4 of it, phew. Short without falling short. Very nicely done!

This was such a beautiful love story. :3 I'm so happy with how the characters developed, and how their long-distance relationship prevailed.

I find myself wishing this was longer and at the same time glad it ended so soon. I really liked reading this and am starting to suspect that some of the shorter shoujos may be some of the better plotted shoujos.
This is an interesting manga. It's pretty good as an actual manga, but it's also interesting because the male lead is deaf--but he can feel the vibrations of strong percussion, so he's a taiko drummer. Seems like it deals pretty realistically with the social problems of deaf people.
