You don't encourage bad habits just because they normally have worse habits. You must push them to completely kick the bad habits.
Always spanish, italian, fart, french aaaaaaaaaargh...
What do you mean? This is fairly fast, for Chibi. We should be encouraging them.
ç_ç ...rendeteli piu' fruibili a tutti!
I, for one, would certainly be happier if she'd included herself in the contest. She plays basketball too; the whole thing would be not as bad if she added in, "And if I score more than either of you, you both have to get off my back!"
Wait, did she actually set herself up to pay the penalty in a competition between other people? *face palm* (-_-')
Fortunately for her she's sweet and cute because I don't think she's going to win any points as far as cleverness goes...mind you I guess it could be hard to keep your thoughts straight with two hot guys in costume battling over you in front of your eyes.
So that's how I can get laid 100%? You should sell this information. XD
just one of many reasons why im starting to become picky with what shojou i read. lol
A new rival appeared – Kanzaki is SHOOK!

See this is where you have to wonder though. Her sole reason for pretending to be a boy is to be close to a guy. Is she behaving like a boy because she wants to or only because she sees it as her one way to get close to a guy. if she thought there was an alternative to getting closer to this guy, as in she thought of herself as actually cute, would she dress all cute and girly to get said guy? That is the reason I don't have a problem with him wanting her to 'act like a girl' because we have no idea that she has any other reason to behave like a guy other than to get close to the guy she likes. If, instead, they made a point of her saying she wants to dress like a guy because she WANTS to dress like a guy instead of a girl, then I'd have a problem with him trying to make her behave a like a girl.
The only thing I don't like about this manga is how he tries to make her act like a girl.
It's kind of perverse in that here he is trying to make her cute and stuff, but I got the impression that he fell for her because she hangs tough on the basketball court with the guys and is generally quite different from the cute but vapid and clingy girls who flock around him because he's apparently a fashionable commodity. The moment when she reacted to his criticism by up and hacking her hair off so that she wouldn't need to worry about wig malfunctions in future seems to have been the critical event--he saw someone decisive, strong, passionate and he fell. I can respect that.
There's no need for a reason—you just fall in love
I can't believe how plots like these still make my heart race haha never going to grow out of shoujo fluff >~<
I bet the captain is actually an asshole, but for whatever stupid reason, she admires him.
And probably that reason is because of a misunderstanding.
And she will eventually fall the MC, of course.
Sorry, can't get hyped for this predictable plot.
Feels like it needs a little exposition? I mean maybe a brief panel or two about their school and the main character's background?
I mean, it's from the perspective of the guy so maybe that's why it feels a little barebones story-wise, since he doesn't know anything about his crush...
But I don't really know how he came to like Asahina in the first place.
