Description: | I thought that I didn't need something like love. I have a complex about my body because it's tiny and I'm merely skin and bones. I am Koeda Tsugumi (a first year high school student). One day, by chance, I let Sena Masamune from the class next door see my body....!? But, after being with the straight forward, always-natural Masamune-kun, the me, who's always hidden herself and secretly wanted to be a more girly girl, has started feeling these warm, fluffy feelings.... I present to you the pure and slow going love story of a romance-klutz! |

SO. MUCH. THIS.
Get off your high horse. They could easily add a water mark here and there and add a credits page without destroying the art. I have bought manga, but most of the stuff I read doesn't get English releases and I don't know how to read Japanese so this is the next best thing.
I wish Chibi was a bit faster because I refuse to read the terrible cookie revolution version.
Watermarks are obnoxious - especially these massive ones. Sure Cookie Revolution may have some ridiculous justification "we'll give you the un-watermarked version if you prove you bought the original" but that's bullshit to make themselves feel better about being thieves. Which is what we are. We take artists' property and redistribute it without their permission. The watermark has zero impact on this. Guess what? Their chapters are up on aggregator sites regardless - nothing they've done has prevented this whatsoever. If they're so concerned about people profiting off another person's work, they shouldn't be illegally scanlating in the first place - it's an unavoidable result of what we do.
The only thing the watermark accomplishes is 1) annoys readers, and 2) advertises for their group. If the watermark were there to encourage people to support the author, then maybe it should include text telling the reader how and where to buy the originals, instead of just an advertisement for their own group. In fact, in addition to the watermarks on every page, they dedicate 3 credits pages to advertising their website and asking for support, but never once provide any link to a site where readers can buy the author's manga. Unlike the watermarks, this is fairly common, but they're being very dishonest about it by pretending this is somehow for the author's benefit. This self-righteous attitude only serves to highlight their hypocrisy.
It is very pleasant to treat with nice and smart people!! Thank you Taddi!!
Thanks Chibi for the chapter 13 update! Your scanlation is definitely worth waiting for. It's great to be able to read the series without feeling as if the scanlator's trying to hypnotize me on every single page!
Keep up the great work!
check out my manga, manhwa and webtoon projects here
Nice nice nice nice niiiiice
I don't have much else to say but I'm enjoying these chapters a bunch!
Thanks for posting, kokorochi. I actually did not know why Cookie had the large watermarks, but I looked it up after I read your post. Have a good day.
For real??? FOR FREAKING REAL!! Have you at least bothered to check their page to know why they do what you find as "obnoxious" and "makes it feel like they are trying to claim the whole thing"? Have you ever purchased manga like ever in your life? Have you ever cared to read what is an DMCA notification?? Have you ever wondered why some groups like Paper Dolls have dissapeared?? Well, I guess you haven't dear, so I strongly encourage you to do so and then come back with a decent, acceptable, intelligent and honest reply, cause saying that you will wait for Chibi to update their version, is just mere bs and uncalled for. If you are not reading Cookie Revolution's version ok, fine, but don't come and complain about it, it's stupid and tiring to keep seeing those comments here >.>
BLEH... I'm barfing up sugar. My goodness, these two cinnamon buns. Naive little cinnamon rolls, these two. Hope they stay this way.
AAwww. They so cuteee~~
Yeah, I'm waiting for Chibi as well (Even though Chibi tends to be slow since they have soooo many projects). The Cookie Revolution Watermark is just plain obnoxious. I get putting their water mark on empty space to show it's your translation, but putting it over the art just makes it feel like they are trying to claim the whole thing as theirs. It ruins the art and that's not cool.
I thought I was the only one waiting for Chibi.
Thank you so much Chibi Manga for making scans worth reading. Even though I love this manga, I will wait for your scans before reading, because you respect the artwork.
Not a comment section without Rozzak spewing his shit.
This has a drama tag. Also, I've seen the part you whined about...
Stop overreacting to things.
Can you see into the future? Because this is still on-going.
But the series isn't over
koeda's "monopolisation" is the cutest fucking thing i've ever seen i'm absolutely deceased. "commence the monopolisation" how can you ask for a cuter gf than that!!! masamune is so lucky
