You are right he wasn't acting like he always does. Maybe because realized that if dosen't make his feelings clear towards kayo she might slip away again so he made all the advances he can think of in one go.
I am pretty glad he did that though,the dude needs some change in his life sometimes too...
Somehow, it feels like Yuuki acted differently than normal in this chapter to the point I might've mistaken him for another person/character. He seemed less aloof than I'm used to. Perhaps it's because he's with someone he likes romantically, so he's acting more nervous and eager rather than laid back. It wasn't bad, just unusual--but maybe I haven't been following this series too closely to notice his development. I wouldn't put it past myself. Either way, sweet chapter.

So in ch. 70 at the beginning, there's those frames showing the characters done up as fiction. I thought the top one was the funniest because it's Journey to the West and Chizuru is the Monkey King.
As a grandma boy myself, I understand Chizuru's feeling 100%.
Oh no, I got teary-eyed at work.
Chizuru isn't even my favourite most of the time, but this manga is able to make you love every character. Stay genki, obaa-chan.
I want to protect Chizuru's smile. I'm not sure why but I always found his chapters the best ones.
