That "crown" looks so asymmetrical, lumpen and misshapen. Like it used to be something else entirely that was melted and warped before they added the new tassels and jewels to it.
I keep wracking my brain as if this whole manga is one big riddle, trying to solve it before I have to say 'uncle.'
Also, where did Icoro find her piece? She was all upset about it but in the right moment suddenly it's there to help her convince the Scholar tribe to do her bidding?
It's really good though. I hope the releases will keep on coming!
If I recall. the author injured his hand partway through the series and took a break (supposedly so his art wouldn't suck, imo it probably hurt too much to draw.) Hence, his work moved to standalone volumes rather than magazines. This would also explain why the earlier volumes had chapters, but the later ones did not.
If we're talking about childish art, I'm curious what you think of volume 8's Icoro naked in chains chapter, which isn't drawn well enough to be called loli.
Umuuu...The drawing was a bit inconsistent in my opinion, as some of the characters sometimes looked too mature when other time looked too childish (no, not chibi or SD, just childish). However if we compare the drawings from ch.1 to that of the latest chapter, I think it's getting better.
I'm a bit sad that there's no complete chapters available, but I'm thankful for the release. We love you guys
And even thought I dont know what happened from vol.6 to 8, it still brought tears to my eyes when I read it. ;w;
